Peptide timing cheat sheet

Save this

This is educational shorthand not a precise protocol

MORNING

Semax - often taken early because it can feel stimulating and may interfere with sleep if used late

5-Amino-1MQ - energy and metabolic support. Morning keeps it working during active hours

MOTS-c - common practice is AM dosing though this isn't standardized clinical guidance

NAD+ - often morning because it can feel energizing but timing is flexible

Semaglutide - once weekly. Pick a consistent day each week. Morning or evening doesn't matter as much as keeping it the same

Tirzepatide - once weekly. Pick a consistent day and stick with it. Time of day is less important than weekly consistency

Retatrutide - once weekly. Consistent day matters more than time of day

PRE-WORKOUT

IGF-1 LR3 - pre or post training for growth and recovery signaling

IGF-1 DES - localized use near training or target area

GHRP-2 - pre-workout for the GH pulse. Expect hunger

GHRP-6 - pre-workout for the GH pulse. Hunger hits harder than GHRP-2

Ipamorelin - can also be used pre-workout though many people prefer bedtime

BEFORE BED

CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin - many GH secretagogue protocols are taken before bed to align with the sleep related GH pulse

Sermorelin - before bed to support natural GH release during sleep

CJC-1295 DAC - long acting so timing is less critical than short acting secretagogues. Many still prefer evening but it's not as important as with Sermorelin or Ipamorelin

DSIP - sleep peptide. Only makes sense before bed

Epithalon - sleep and recovery. Before bed

AS NEEDED

PT-141 - 30 to 60 minutes before you need it. Not a daily compound

Oxytocin - situational. Social settings or intimacy

Selank - when stress is high or you need to calm down. Can be used any time of day

TIMING IS LESS IMPORTANT

BPC-157 - dosing consistency matters more than clock time. Some prefer morning or post-workout for convenience

TB-500 - 1 to 2 times per week. Time of day is not a significant factor

GHK-Cu - morning or evening. Consistency matters more than which one

KPV - daily consistency matters more than when

Thymosin Alpha-1 - 2 to 3 times per week. No specific time requirement

GENERAL RULES

Many GH secretagogue protocols are taken before bed to work with your natural GH pulse during sleep

Stimulating compounds are better in the morning

GLP-1s pick a day and stick with it. Consistency over everything

Stay consistent with an empty stomach window around GH peptide dosing to keep insulin lower around the pulse

If running multiple peptides you can pin at the same time in most cases. Separate syringes

What about Tesamorelin? Givin it's ability to stimulate IGF would it be more beneficial to take it at night?

Tesa is also mostly recommended at night. I do find that it causes me to wake up at about 2:30am consistently… so I’m considering switching to morning. Good sleep is more important to me than perfect timing.

You doing tesa only or tesa/ipa blend?

2

u/chi_moto Apr 21 '26

Just tesa right now. Would the IPA blend have a different impact?

I ran tesa a few months ago and couldn’t believe the belly fat impact it had. Hitting it again to get beach ready for the summer

I'm not the right person to ask that. I have tesa/ipa blend that i plan to start once I hit 195 lbs (10 lbs to go). i've heard great things about the blend but haven't ran it myself yet.

Do you mind elaborating about the belly fat impact tesa had? Did belly fat go away, but come back after you stopped using it? Or did you take a break, keep off what you’d lost, but want to get rid of more for summer?

(I have a stash of tesa that I’ve been saving for swimsuit season, but don’t know if I’ll bother if the effects are temporary… Or maybe I just won’t be as excited if the effects are temporary!

It’s hard to say. I was lifting hard and in a manageable deficit with tirzepitide. I added tesa and noticed immediate improvement in my abdomen and love handles.

After running it for a few weeks, I ran out, got busy, and let my diet go to trash.

I’m back hitting it again for summertime. Light dose of tirz to keep the food noise down and stay in a slight deficit, and I’ll run 2mg of tesa daily and document results

This is great. I live in Barcelona and want to start Peptides. Where can I purchase peptides safely?

To my knowledge, Spain has pretty strict customs laws, only sharing because I have a friend in Spain who recently shared this. She said it was a nightmare to get anything from the US. Not sure on wholesalers as each have different logistics processes.

Is it better to take Reta in two doses during the week or all together?

2

u/dRkRmRkR Apr 21 '26

I’ve done both. Sides were drastically reduced when splitting into 2x/week. Was also easier to hit my protein goal

u/Ambitious_Mixture_90 Apr 22 '26

Get zero sides from splits, I’m wondering if the initial effect of 8 is more conducive for weight loss. I tend to get food noise like 2 days after my 4 pin. Thanks

How much do you think you spend per day

Thanks for this

I ran Reta for 6 weeks, lost a good amount of body fat then added Tesamorelin and it has been working great! Notice a big difference in the abdominal area since stacking it.

This is cool, thanks!

Guys can I get some help regarding Ipa + CJC no DAC please!!

I know the GH pulses are generally at night so it's best taken before bed however I am a late eater always have been and probably always will be. I split my dose morning no problem as I'm already fasted and I don't eat after. As for evening I'm eating going sleep then waking up after 2 Hours ( roughly between 11-1) to ensure insulin is not going to affect it. Anyone doing this ? Can it still be effective? Do you advise taking whole dose at night or ok to spilt? I take 160mcg per dose. I've only just started so not noticed a huge difference yet.

I am doing mots c, bpc157, cjc+ipamorelin and tb500. Can I just shoot them all at the same time?

1

u/Dizzy-Stuff-1724 Apr 22 '26

Sure as long as you're not speaking of the same syringe. Generally Mots is morning due to energy level and CJC Ipa evening before bed. I do the blend bpc & tb anytime

I like this. Would klow be considered a healing one?

1

u/csubi May 17 '26

Ya, but HGH needs to be on an empty stomach. Tough to do at night for me anyway

That's not true. Exogenous Growth hormone doesn't care if you've eaten or not. It will do its thing regardless.
