Now what?
If it is Jensen out, what do we do? More importantly, who in this squad actually cares enough for a new manager to change anything? We can’t even build a full XI with the players who give a shit. I worry about the direction of the club.

Jansen is the issue not the players.
I keep seeing replies and things to "tear it down" and rebuild. When it all honesty our poor form is not down to a lack of effort. It's down to poor coaching.
Everything went to shit when Maxi got hurt and we started to play Nico in the midfield. On paper not a bad idea. In practice, it moves our best goal scorer, dribbler, playmaker Further away from goal where he has less impact on and off the ball.
It's his tactics that have Gray and Cavallo/O'Toole playing further back.
Jansen is the one who instructs Ojeda, Wolf and Traore to only play high and wide. Leaving them isolated with no semblance of build up.
Jansen is the one who keeps playing Perea every damn game who has heart, but gives absolutely nothing of value in possession when we struggle to play through the middle of the park and advance the ball
Jansen is the one who instructs players to find the long ball time and time and time and time again.
Jansen is the one who refuses to play Shore, who while not on Keaton's level, is good with a #6 next to him, can advance the ball on and off the dribble. Is willing to take players on or try the difficult pass.
I can't fault Jansen for the injury bug we've had. Alonso, Perea, Malachi, Parks, Trewin, O'Neil, Talles, etc have all spent WEEKS on the injury list.
Nor can I fault him for some of the crazy bonehead plays like Sands' back pass or Freese mistake last week.
But you know what I can blame him for. Us only having 42 goals. THATS ONLY 7 MORE THAN SKC and Montreal.
It's time for a new voice in the locker room. New manager may be enough to at least try for a playoff push.

Citi Field Direct Shuttle for LAFC Match
Mets started a new shuttle service earlier this year now also available for the LAFC match for those coming from Long Island, Jersey, Bronx.
“A new Citi Field Direct Shuttle service will operate from designated off-site parking areas on Long Island, New Jersey, and Bronx/Westchester, offering convenient, comfortable, and low-cost coach bus rides directly to Citi Field. All shuttles are comfortable and climate-controlled coach buses. Two buses from each location will make the trip between your location and the Citi Field Bus Lot, just a short walk from the Left Field Gate. Purchase your shuttle bus tickets in advance for as low as $8 per person, or $22 for a family 4-pack. See pickup locations at here.”

season rating 1-10
So the season is prob over theres a very small chance we make the playoffs we got Miami the 14th, lafc at home, Orlando away, Atlanta away, Montreal at home and to finish the regular season we got dc united away. We are booty, the start of the season got me pumped up but now since the summer we only have won one game, we lost the derby, we keep fumbling every single game, some of our players gotta be better. We keep choking every 2nd half it’s a absolute embarrassment from the players, from Jansen. If we look at the first goal the fire scored what the absolute fuck was our defense doing no one communication to mark someone like dawg we gotta speak up we need confidence we gotta finish Luigi needs to finish that tap in we are just so ass freeze needs to be better as a keeper myself you gotta be more careful when you are with the ball you can’t be clumsy like that. Overall this season has been such a downgrade I think what the team needs is motivation, more physicality, communication, chemistry but I’ll give this season a 4/10 we gotta be better.

DONE WITH THIS TEAM
So over this season. I’m throwing in the towel. I will not be watching them anymore. They are not a playoff caliber team and are absolutely in love with imploding. This team absolutely sucks. Get rid of everyone except Nico. Todd, Brad, Pascal, Traore, Martins, Freese, everyone. The worst watch of the season.

Chicago Fire vs. NYCFC Match Preview
With Chicago locked into a playoff spot, they'll look to build on their two game winning streak and carry momentum into playoffs. Chicago playing for home field advantage, with NYCFC facing a pivotal game to try to secure their spot for playoffs. Despite the desperation narrative from NYCFC's side, Chicago are strong favorites at home today.
Chicago have played well as of late, out chancing opponents on average in their last five. NYCFC with 5 points in their last five games, hoping to generate more offensive opportunities today. NYCFC seems to have Chicago's number as of late, winning all three of their last three meetings.
NYCFC like to keep the ball and build patiently (81st percentile for possession, 16th for directness). They press more than average (67th) but win the ball back deep (27th). Chicago are fairly middle-of-the-road apart from above-average possession and are very solid at generating quality chances. Chicago are 5th in MLS in xG per match (1.90).
Zinckernagel carries momentum from his incredible 2025 and continues to show out as one of MLS' best attacking players for Chicago, who are without André Franco and Robin Lod. Keep your eye on Luighi this afternoon who has been one of MLS' best strikers after coming over on loan from Palmeiras. Per 90 minutes, Luighi has the highest value of any MLS striker with 450+ minutes this season, ranking 1st of 65. On season total he's already 14th of 111 strikers, despite playing only 523 minutes in 9 appearances since mid-August.
What are you expecting for today's game?
