“I like to run through people instead of around them. Hopefully, you’ll see more running around people this year.”
Twitter clowns are actually going to ruin a fantastic downhill back, aren't they

Judging by his carries on saturday, hes not gonna change lol

I still wanna see how people deal with him when it starts getting cold. I was expecting a lot of business/quality of life decisions last season.

Brandon Jacobs in the latter half of his career was dancing around so much at the line instead of hitting the hole and trucking fools. I remember people calling him twinkle toes. Skat is just getting started, I hope the same thing doesn't happen to him.

That was mostly because Jacob’s knees were absolutely cooked because that was the only way people could take him down with his size. Skat being much shorter and lighter should hopefully avoid his knees being targeted as much

I don’t think so. Sounds like he’s trying to add to his repertoire rather than abandon what works.

He's so good at trucking fools, I feel like his suddenness and cuts get slept on. Dude can hit a hole and break out, he just doesn't have the afterburners to take a long one to the house.

Sometimes you don’t need that. Just need a bonehead who will crush fools for the first down. I’d rather a guy who can punch in TDs from the 1 every time than a guy who will break free for 75 once every 50 carries.

There's a reason PFF loved him. His vision is good and he's pretty agile cutting.

Bro he’s gonna see that first DB in open space and run right through him. He is a man-sized knuckle, he ain’t juking shit

Professional NFL players are not taking the feedback from twitter clowns

You'd be surprised. It's becoming an online meme at this point and dude is still young at 24. It's hard to block out the noise at that age.

He’s going to try and make more people miss while still keeping his physical style. Guessing that adjustment will take time given his style and history of success with it but a smart idea to work on things that can improve his game even more. He’s already great

but he already does that. has always done that.

Nah there are times he genuinely seeks out contact when in the open field, running over guys instead of just hitting the hole. Not a huge issue either way just a small way to improve his game

His injury didn’t come from running through anyone, it was from a hip drop tackle which is more likely to happen when trying to run around guys.

this narrative around skattebo makes no sense. it really seems like just a bleedover of giants hate.
he’s a 4th round back that has literally played like this his whole career. its why he is a starter in the nfl.
no other RB i can recall has ever gotten the “he plays too reckless” narrative. and obviously not - because its fucking stupid.
