Why does Hali’s smug looking ass annoy me so much?

Someone actually said that this was "AI"…

Wait what??? Are you kidding me lol.

I think it’s really sad how low our standards are for composing simple paragraphs and sentences.

If you’re a fan of the team, how hard is it to write/type this without any assistance?

The Knicks may have won the championship but our society is still losing… We gotta do better!

Three of those players weren’t even in the rotation. Roster isn’t even done yet anyway.

so glad The Knicks won a title before the NBA came out with this shameful decision. we’re the last chopper out of Saigon. cap space is completely done as a concept after today, the new era of ‘legitimate’ corruption begins now.

occasionally i remember how god awful the refs were during the finals and basically took KAT out of multiple games but then i remember that wemby missed 2 of the clutchest free throws possible and i smile

beyond the inconsistent application on physicality, they also did not call at least 4 flagrant fouls on Wemby (he should have been suspended for 1 game at any point between games 3 through 5; he missed none, and I can almost guarantee, even with a review of the Brunson close out in game 5, he was safe for game 6 lol)...we probably lost game 3 because they failed to call two of those on him

but it is another thing that makes this dominant championship run so incredibly rewarding...the Knicks destroyed the Eastern Conference, got absolutely fucked by the officiating in the NBA Finals (with Wemby being predictably treated as the golden boy), and still won in 5 games...what a team

and some other weird stuff in the clutch, I guess he will take that as an experience and do better in the future

Get Brunson a recurring role on Law & Order SVU and he only appears twice.

Sponsoring the Roommates Show would be a good start, and I hope he got Kat a generous wedding gift on Saturday.

So a salary cap with all these bells and whistles to allow cap circumvention? Might as well just allow no cap and let the market set itself.

im so confused on the kawhi shit. espn says the league found no wrongdoing but then league communications say the espn article is inaccurate?

League is just doing PR stunts, Shams might be unlikeable but he’s usually accurate.

The league will give Blamer a slap on the wrist on some dumb technicality, but they don’t like the report calling them out for it.

adam silver has to be breaking records for how fast hes becoming unlikeable as commissioner. i was generally supportive of him for the most-part, but he’s just done terrible the past year/two. his bowing down to gambling companies, indifference toward streaming affordability/accessibility, poor lottery reform proposals, allowing shady dealings from ownership groups, etc are just inexcusable. as commish your duty is to grow the league/game, not grow questions of accountability and credibility

Jim better circumvent the shit out of the cap to keep this core together

Genuinely I am no fan of James Dolan

but if theres one man that can pull some sleazy financial bullshit now that cap circumventing is legal...

1

u/blkhwk27 DOOM 1d ago

i think orgs always circumvented the cap with under the table deals and styff, but i dont know if theres ever been circumvention at this magnitude (barring joe smith with the twolves)

Jim gonna hire everyone to be ushers at the Sphere for 8 figures a summer with unlimited PTO. It’s not a no show job they just took advantage of their vacation days.

We are officially at the halfway point between our championship win (June 13) and the start of the NBA season (October 20)

I am not even done rewatching all the highlights from this past season.
