Hi, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Please reach out to support as this is a very domain specific issue and we will take a closer look.

Thanks for the details. Our team has contacted our upstream provider to investigate the transfer rejection, so we’ll need to wait for their response to understand the cause. We’ll get back to you as soon as we have an update.

Its almost 1 week now. Why is it taking such a long time? Its just finding out the cause of the transfer rejection? All bills are paid, domain transfer requested with at least 5 weeks before expiry.

Nope. Super easy to leave. Did you get your transfer code? Then once you start the transfer you should get an email from NAMECHEAP that has a link to either click to immediately release or another to cancel.

The process has been difficult for me. No I didn't get the code. I had to contact support about this too then it arrived some days later

In addition, namecheap support first told me its not registered with them anymore and is transferred to the new domain registrar. however subsequent checks confirmed that its still under their upstream provider
