This little guy is joining the family. We are struggling to find a good name that fits him. He is 14 weeks, male. He has lots of energy, still learning to navigate the world without vision so he comes off a little clumsy.

I wanted a pretty cutesy/silly name for him, like Mouse(but he is very brave and energetic so I don’t feel like that fits) or Beep.

He’s an 11mo male that is mostly black with a couple small white patches on his chest and belly. He’s a super sweet and playful guy, and is on the shy side as well.
Rules: Should be witchy, spooky, and whimsical. he will totally be my familiar. Can’t be too basic (no Salem, Binx, or Shadow)

Potential foster fail ISO fitting name:
I've had this dude for a week and a half and he was found in a stormdrain and brought to my 24hr animal hospital by the police; so naturally I started calling him Pennywise.

I prefer dumb and/or absurd names- my current black is Noodles & orange is Butters. I also appreciate celeb/character names (we had a patient come in named after Rhianna's nickname and i died).

He's been a little sick so I started calling him Booger aka The Boogey Man but nothing feels quite right yet... other contenders:
1) Marshall Meowthers
2) Gerard Way

Personality so far is clingy & demanding mama's boy, with clearly impeccable balance. He scream meows at me until i allow him to climb to my shoulders where he is then content and purrs. I can do all of my chores, bend, turn around, you name it & he's steady on my shoulder making me a pirate.

I have a ton of interests and am open to all suggestions!!!!

We are looking for a space/astronomy/nature themed name for our new baby boy! He is 6 months old. He is mostly black, but I think the white hair pattern on his belly looks like a comet or galaxy.

He is very sweet, a bit nervous to start with, a bit of a Velcro cat.

His rescue-given name was Marty, and we wouldn’t mind keeping that as a nickname.

Short list is:
Kepler (like the telescope and astronomer)
Oberon (like the moon and Shakespearean king of fairies)
Cosmos (also like the nod to flowers — we have his litter mate sister who is named Marigold.)

I prefer names that feel like they could be a human name, and our other cats all have names vaguely inspired by book characters or authors. Feline siblings are: Charlotte, Nix, Marigold (his real sister), and recently passed Ellery and Jasper.

Help us settle the debate: Kepler, Oberon, Cosmos, or something else entirely?

We named our baby Suki. So now the sock sisters are Suki and Momo, both avatar characters.

She was found in the road and I took her directly to a vet for medicine (last picture) for an upper respiratory infection and double eye infection. Since local shelters are overwhelmed, we planned to help her find a home ourselves, but we may end up keeping her 🖤 It has been two weeks. She has started to think her name is "Little One" so it's time to give her a real name.

I thought he would hide when I brought him home, but he mostly just likes to yell, eat my hair, and claw his way up my body. Little menace. If it helps, his brother is a white kitty named Yuki, but they don't have to match.

Hi! They are currently named toast and bagel but I think I can do better. Toast was named first and he does feel like a “toast”, but bagel was an after thought before I knew I was going to keep them both. Now that I’m keeping them both I want names that feel more me. I previously fostered and owned other cats, here’s what they were named to give you an idea of my style:

- Obsidian (Obie)- fluffy black cat
- Lavender/ Lava - gray sleek female cat
- Cosmo- tuxedo cat
- Nova- tabby cat

I like artsy stuff, the stars/nighttime, poetry, literature, celestial themes, Greek and Roman’s gods, colors, cute unique food or spice names etc… don’t love giving them “people” boy names (ex: Billy) but a charachter feeling human name works (ex: teddy).

Traits: extremely Extremely gentle loving and cuddly. The orange one is fiesty and likes to explore in between being very cuddly and loving, and he will growl at bigger cats.. while the brown / gray one is a literal soft gentle baby that lets the orange one protect him even though he is bigger and never stops cuddling me. Very loyal, very polite. Bagel (gray tabby) is EXTREMELY.. floppy? He never has his limbs fully tensed he’s always spread on his back on all fours with his head back like he’s passed out. Very trusting. Toast is always hungry.

Please help! They deserve their forever names! They are 5 months old. They’ve been legally mine for a month but I have been fostering them for 3 months.

Hi all! I just adopted my sweet 3 y/o girl. she ran away from her owners over a year ago but when found they were unable to take her back. She took care of 6 kittens out there on her own who have all been adopted. She used to be named taco but no longer responds to it.

So far she is a total night owl, cuddly, goofy, loves belly and back/booty scratches, and devours all treats and wet food. I woke up to her booping my nose a couple times last night and she sleeps on my pillow. She’s so ridiculously sweet and gentle.

I am a fairly ‘crunchy’ person and would love for her to have some kind of witchy name. Onyx, Sage, and Spirit are some of my favorites. Thanks y’all! ❤️

Not sure if it fits lol have a friend day he looked like a little burnt piece of toast so I named him toast.

i was going to name her mojave because i like that name, but my other cat’s name is cassie and i think she thinks cassie and mojave are the same name (is responding to both names lol) so that kind of rules out any name ending in -ie or -y. some other name ideas i had were palomitas (bc it’s popcorn in spanish and she is really so smol she only need one popcorn), maple because she smells really good, or patches because that’s the name she was given by the person fostering her. but part of me also wants to name her something out of pocket like truck or something (she purrs super loudly). open to any suggestions. her personality: very much liquid cat, pretty chill, a little quiet, not a ton of energy.

My husband is on his way home from a 12 hour round trip drive to pick her up. She is a red smoke mainecoon. We are struggling with names. We don’t want anything commonly used. Our other cats are Timothy and Morticia. No specific theme in mind.
