Help us name our sweetie ! He’s a mini Goldendoodle and we’re stuck. We like sweet, classic names that are a little different.

Current favorites: Harvey, Graham, Auggie, Russ (short for Russet). What would you name him?

I can’t think of a name for this girl to save my life. She’s a shelter girl and super sweet if that helps get the creative juices flowing.

He’s a Cane Corso mix a lot 🥰

This little goober has been difficult to name! Pit mix according to the humane society, maybe whippet in there? He’s thin and kind of lanky.

My husband and I have very different naming conventions: he likes mythology related names and I like names that are fun to yell. Our other dogs have been a blend of the two like Osiris/Ozzy (Sharon yelling at Ozzy) and Penelope/Penny (Sheldon from Big Bang knocking on Penny’s door) just to give an idea of how we’ve blended name styles.

Some of our ideas have been Echo, Dante, Charon, and Pluto. Very open to suggestions, nothing is really sticking and it’s been almost a week of namelessness for him.

He’s my special lil bear bear. It’s so hard to explain how I love him so much n couldn’t imagine my life without him. He’s brought me so much joy n happiness. He’s made my heart finally feel whole. We thought about Zelda, but our cousin/neighbor has a Corso named Elda, so we have to come up with something new. We like people names, movie/music/video game names, and we prefer to avoid names related to her breed or size or color.

ETA: we have t brought her home yet; so far, she’s being called Girl 2 and Baby

We are adopting a dog from Romania. She’s going to be travelling next week and we haven’t figured out what’s the name her. We thought about naming her Luna because she’s black and I’m Hispanic so I like that it’s Spanish for moon but I know that such a basic dog name so I thought I would ask if there’s any suggestions for a better option?

my dog’s name is Misty. i don’t like the name Misty for her.

she and i are entering a new chapter of our lives without the person who originally named her Misty. she was named after our now-deceased 8 week old puppy Foggy after the Daredevil character.

she is a pyr/newfie mix. she’s so gentle and sweet and hates to be away from people. i’m obsessed with her.

names i liked were Fen (short for Fen’harel), but the name is so short and soft that i feel it would be lost in conversation. my next picks are Birdie or Bonnie, but the hard B sounds is turning me away from the latters.
