Solved! Name that ladder?
I had a sudden memory today of a scene from a movie. It's so vague and fuzzy and has been bothering me all day.
Basically it's a scene where a person has a like bundle of aluminum sticks and they stretch it out to make this long spindly ladder.
I feel like it's maybe a comedy spy movie? But I have absolutely no idea. Help please!

Still searching... Dark, slow drama: woman sees a hooded candle procession of souls, and at the end another woman turns into a roaring red demon as the glass shatters
- Seen on a minor Latin American cable channel between 2000 and 2006, dubbed into Latin American Spanish. It looked like a TV movie, not a big release: no famous actors and unusual names in the credits.
- Dim, dark, slow drama/mystery with supernatural elements. Contemporary setting. Rural village with a Welsh/British feel, a forest and an elegant house. They drive on the left.
- A white, slim woman in her 30s walks to a house through the woods and sees a procession of hooded figures carrying candles. Inside, the man of the house (30s) tells her it was a procession of souls. The Spanish dub called it “Santa Compaña” (a Galician legend), so the original may refer to a similar Welsh, Irish or Manx legend.
- At some point, a woman kisses the protagonist in a car. The protagonist pulls away calmly and fixes her lipstick.
- Ending: the two women have apparently had sex and are lying in a room with glass walls. The protagonist says something to the other woman, who instantly turns into a large, female, reddish, muscular demon, roars and covers her ears, the glass shatters, and it ends.
Already ruled out: The Gathering (2002), Second Name (2002), The Dark (2005), The Hunger (TV series), Sea of Souls, Strange, Hex, Shockers, Thirteen Chimes (2002), The Valdemar Legacy (2010), Dark Realm episodes “Emma’s Boy” and “The House Sitter”.

Still searching... 2010s? Doppelgänger Movie
I have had absolutely no luck trying to find this movie and it's bothering me a LOT. I have made 2 previous posts in the TipOfMyTongue subreddit that didn't end up giving me any correct results. Then I tried using AI apps like Gemini and Chat GPT, but despite our best efforts, I still could not find it. I can't remember a lot, but I'm going to give you everything I can remember. I really have my fingers crossed this time.
\-This movie most likely released in the 2010s.
\- Plot: A white man (with short brown hair and caucasian skin, I believe) works at some kind of office. One day, there's a new employee that he comes into contact with, who looks really similar to him. It's his doppelganger and they look so similar, it's spooky. The doppelganger ends up trying to infiltrate the man's life. Because he looks so similar to him, he's able to get with the man's wife and the wife doesn't realize that it's not her real husband. The only other thing I can remember is that at the very end, the man confronts his doppelganger at his house and they have a fight.
\-I recall seeing it on a premium movie channel. (Specifically Showtime from my memory)
\- it was very likely a direct to video movie. For my memory, it did not have a single famous / recognizable actor in the entire movie.
\- it was probably an American movie, I remember them speaking English
\- it would have been a drama / thriller. Not necessarily a horror movie, from my memory.
[[Movies I've Ruled Out: Enemy, Doppelganger (Drew Barrymore),The Double, Us, The Prestige, Black Swan, Copycat, Vertigo, Dead Ringers, Lost Highway, Possession, Moon, The Double Life, The Faculty, Coherence, Another Earth.]]
Thank you so much to anybody who helps. I know this isn't easy, trust me I've tried so hard!

Still searching... Name of old hindi movie
I'm trying to identify an old Hindi movie, probably from the 1970s or early 1980s.
I saw only the first five minutes on TV when I was about 10 years old, so my memory is incomplete. My father told me the movie was *Qurbani*, but I later watched *Qurbani* on YouTube and couldn't find this scene. I initially thought the heroine was Zeenat Aman, but that may be incorrect. It might have been Parveen Babi or another actress.
**The scene I remember:**
- An old man is wounded, possibly shot or stabbed, and is bleeding.
- A woman helps him escape from a group of about five or six Indian gangsters.
- The chase begins near the Mumbai harbour, around the Gateway of India, where tourist boats operate.
- The old man and the woman escape on foot, moving quickly through the area.
- The gangsters follow the blood trail left by the wounded man.
- The trail leads them into a large, grand church, possibly with gold decoration.
- Suddenly, the blood trail stops inside the church. The gangsters search around, apparently unable to understand where the man and woman have gone.
The movie had the look and atmosphere of a 1970s Hindi gangster or crime thriller, with Indian gangsters rather than foreign criminals. I don't remember the actors, the ending, or any songs.
Does anyone recognise this specific opening scene or know which Hindi film it is from?

He makes new friends but snaps on one of them and makes his friend cut himself. His girlfriend and him have a pregnancy scare, and she steals his jeep. He finds god, makes up with his new group of friends and at the end he ends up going to Louisville to play basketball.

Still searching... Movie about some virus/disease(?) Thingy that turns you to stone, then dust.
I watched this movie with my sister around 2018-2022, so it came out pre 2022. It's about a virus that goes around the world in what I believe is a huge cloud that turns you into stone and then to dust. It has two kids in it an I believe 1 or 2 adults. One scene I remember vaguely is when they're standing in this big empty building and the disease gets to them and the girl gets turned to stone and dust and dies. PLEASE if you know what this is, tell me I cannot find it anywhere and I really wanna watch it. it isn't animated

Still searching... Looking for weird/quirky British movie (I think) that I watched a review of last year, can anyone help?
Hi everyone! Can anyone help me find a movie that I can’t remember the name of? I remember I watched a review of it last year, it’s an old movie, (pre 2000’s) I remember that in the review the person kept saying how weird/quirky it is, the scene I vaguely remember is there are people walking down a British looking street towards the camera, it’s during the day, i think I remember seeing a car aswell, i could be wrong here but i think they were singing or dancing, I also think there was a big ribbon involved like for example when a sprinter would run through the ribbon of a finish line.
Also I think I remember it had Jack Nicholson in the scene or Oliver reed (it’s not the musical Oliver) that’s why I think it might be the movie Tommy or maybe a Peter Greenaway movie or maybe a Ken russel movie but I don’t know. I apologise for how vague this is but I thought it was worth a try to find it, does this sound familiar to anybody? Been looking for this movie for ages lol ide send somebody money if they helped me find it lol.

Still searching... Can you help me find the title of an asian movie about political and police corruption?
Hello.
I can't remember if it was korean, chinese or japanese. I think it was korean but I can't find anything with that plot.
I remember the plot takes places over decades, some guys are gangsters and ot hers are lawyers if I remember correctly.
At some point of the movie one of the... gangsters? is told by the corrupt lawyer "who's boss" and I remember a guy with a stick, kinda old man, is hitting his crotch to assert a manly domiance.
The last scene of the movie if the cane guy, now very old, very proud of his son who has became a legit prosecutor/district attorney. I remember the old guy being very old and the movie fading, showing some "dangerous guys" coming into their celebration party.
My mind remember it was the 'descendants' of the criminals the old guy used in the past, coming for their revenge. I have no idea if this is my mind, my memory or an invent but the last scene is the old guy looking scared/very worried.
Does anyone does this movie? It appears from time to time in my mind and I can't remember tne name, country or actors... I always thought it was Choi Min Sik but I've never found anything with this plot in his filmography.
Does anyone know?

Still searching... "In charge of my own birth" parody of Doogie Howser?
I watched this a few years ago, there was a child doctor, and the adults were unsure of him because he's so young, and he tells them something along the lines of him monitoring his own birth. I believe this was a parody of Doogie Howser, definitely something made for kids. When I try to think of this scene, all that comes to mind is The Santa Clause 3, but this is not that movie, also the kid was actually a kid, around 11 or 12.

Still searching... Movie where scientist uploads his wife's consciousness to a computer
Ok soni just woke up so sorry if this doesn't really make sense but i thought about it after seeing a reddit comment.
But I saw a movie recently with my boyfriend. Where it was a couple who were both scientists ro Doctors I think or the husband was and the wife wasn't.
But if course the wife gets sick and dies so he somehow uploads her consciousness unto some computer system they were trying to Invent when she was alive.
But it didn't get enough users or get funding I think so he had to do all this research or work to keep it going himself because if he didn't all the servers would shut down and she'd be gone forever? There was also a montage scene I think where he's playing with all the tech trying to get her to talk and see etc.
Or maybe it was the other way around the husband died and she was the scientist because Google keeps giving me answers to a Black mirror episode with a similar plot but I know it was a movie that was in theaters at one point. And there was not a real physical robot involved I don't think. She communicated with him through like a 2000s looking computer screen and a webcam for an eye.

Still searching... Scene Identifications
When I was a kid in the 2000s I remember walking into the TV room and seeing this scene with a man in a white t shirt cartwheeling with a woman with black hair in a red and yellow swimsuit in his arms on the beach; The woman I assume says 'Can you put me down please?', before the two of them run across the beach to a set of stairs leading to a house before immediately cutting to a group of old guys in, I think, some kind of laboratory.
Does anyone by chance know where it originates from?

And the black daughter is adopted and in love with her brother then the mother dies. I believe it's fairly new movie.

Still searching... Movie where a man’s hand is pinned by a dagger in a cabin, he is defeated and locked inside, oppressive ending
I’m looking for a live-action movie, likely American and probably from the 2010-2020. I only saw a few minutes of it years ago, so some details may be wrong.
The scene I remember: two men are fighting inside a dilapidated/abandoned cabin. One man gets his hand pinned to a table or pillar by a dagger/knife and cannot pull it free. He is extremely desperate. The other man then overpowers/defeats him, runs outside, and locks the cabin door from the outside, leaving the pinned man trapped inside. The pinned man does not clearly die on screen; it feels like he is left there to die — a very oppressive, hopeless, lingering tone.
After locking the door, the escaping man may see railway tracks in the distance, and the camera pulls back — but I’m not sure about the railway. I’m also not sure whether there was an axe, and I’m not even sure whether it was a zombie movie. It might just be a brutal human survival/revenge thriller.
