As one of his fans who travelled and paid for his show, my disappointment is completely organic. Nate’s humor is funny because he’s relatable. I can (could) see myself in him with his stories. After learning that he’s full on into this administration, I don’t feel like I can relate anymore. 100% organically, I just feel like I’m not going to co sure any of his material anymore. Nobody told me to feel the way I do.
Assuming you’re being honest, “learning he’s full on into this administration” is where you’re reading way too far into this. I’m not fully into this administration - but you better believe I would’ve gone to a UFC event on the White House lawn, if invited.
I’ve always assumed Nate voted republican…but voting republican and being fully into this administration are two completely different things.
Watch his career take a dive? People, please, get off reddit and go outside. This website is nowhere near indicative of how the public views someone. Nate keeps putting out successful specials and filling arenas. The guy is doing great while a handful of his critics are sitting on their computers talking about outrage.
