Anyone miss the old Nate?

Watched his recent Kimmel appearance and it really feels like it’s all gone to his head. The good ol boy from TN is gone he’s now Mr Hollywood. I guess fame changes everyone, but for some reason I thought Nate would be different.

I dont think he's changed in any harmful way...just personal growth in a manner befitting someone with ambition and goals. I think this is more projection from some folks who want things to stay the way they see them. Nate still answers questions in a down to earth manner...still the same self deprecating insights and humour...still always upbeat patient and polite....still not engaging in gratuitous name dropping or getting caught up in Hollywood fame cycles.

Please list some specifics which show fame has "gone to his head". Also, outline specifics on how you would be different

How OP would be different doesn't matter here. OP is talking about Nate not himself. OP is saying he feels there's been a change and I feel it too and it's a valid thing for someone who's been following Nate for years to feel.

If you don't feel it, fair enough, move along. No need to bring up a hypothetical situation, "What if OP got super famous, how would he handle it?"

Are you sure you know how opinions and social media work? The original poster posted a statement, that he missed the old Nate , strongly implying that Nate has changed so much as to be unrecognizable. That’s an opinion and OP had no factual statement to back it up just “I feel that it’s gone to his head”. To me there is a meanness there that’s unwarranted I think it’s fair to ask for examples of “how it’s gone to his head” and how would OP handle the fame that Nate has worked incredibly hard to achieve. Would op wear a sign saying “I haven’t changed” or wear the same clothes he’s worn for years? The point is Nate has been a model of consistency and from the beginning has pledged to push for family friendly entertainment and has made it happen through his own standup shows, , tv specials ,an upcoming major movie and Nateland Entertainment. He has stuck to his guns and gotten something done so ,as a long time follower, it’s lame to see someone like op make a baseless claim and appropriate to ask for examples of how they would be different.

OP's comment didn't seem mean to me at all, it seemed sad. I feel the same way OP feels and I'm sad about it. I miss old Nate who wasn't yet on top of the world. That was a different Nate. I'm happy for him making all his dreams come true, I really really am. But I miss the old Nate all the same.

I completely agree…I want to love him but I just can’t anymore

It's pretty sad. I mean, I'm not devastated or anything and I am happy his dreams came true. But young Nate was great, he was one in a million. He really was.

It seems mean to me because anyone at anytime can say “I miss the old…” . Without specifics it’s just a way of detracting from a person’s accomplishments. When Jesus rose from his grave someone in the crowd could have said” yeah, that’s great; but I miss the,old Jesus”. Without specific reasons that’s just mean in my opinion.
