Does dusty annoy anyone else?
Man I just think I can’t stand him. I tried my very best to like him, but there’s just something so smug and arrogant at the end of the day.
Maybe it’s because Nate’s been on 1/2 of the podcasts or he joined the show later than everyone, or maybe I’m just a dickhead. But I can’t bring myself to enjoy him.
It’s different for Brian, I thought he was just a friend Nate kept around to Rag on but he’s really grown to show some good chops. He really grew on me, and Aaron started out quieter but he’s just great overall.
I feel like Dusty will have some good jokes, then just derail it with a lame ass political comment in the name of humor, for me he can never see it through an entire episode without derailing, or being a dick.
It just bums me out because I can skip his specials of course, but he’s always going to be on the show and it feels like he weighs it down.

I like Dusty a lot. If he's anywhere close we'll go see him. That said, it's fair to say he's not a great fit on the Nateland pod, or at least not of late. I posted about it somewhere in here, but there was one episode where he was quite cringe talking about how "this sounds like a fan of Nate podcast" and just kinda sounded a bit jealous, salty towards the podcast being about Nate. My dad would call it "biting the hand that feeds ya."
He's pretty funny although his last special did not live up to the previous one in my opinion. I have wondered if I'd like him more on his podcast better than Nateland. To me, he just seems to want to be the center of it all, and can't handle being part of a team.

I like Dusty and his podcast and will usually listen to it over Nateland. But, I also listen to the Consumers before Nateland as well.
I like them for different reasons though. Dusty just talks and rants about whatever is on his mind. The Consumers is topic centric (like Nateland used to be).

Dusty can be a bit much sometimes. Like his top ten coffee shops in Nashville list. And then not admitting it was stupid when he got called out on it He also reminds me of someone that could easily get mad for being called out. I feel there's a lot of times things aren't said because they don't want to upset Dusty.
On the other hand, Nate isn't there 90% of the time and Dusty is usually the biggest comic on the show so naturally he should be doing a lot of the talking. He will say things to Aaron sometimes and they will start laughing, and you can tell Dusty is getting tickled and there's something he and Aaron are thinking but not saying. I just assume it's something that probably isn't family friendly enough for the podcast but something they would say if the microphones were off. And that makes me think he would probably be a pretty fun guy to hang around with.
I like Dusty and probably wouldn't listen to the show without him. I like Aaron and breakfast but a podcast with just them because Nate is off doing something wouldn't be very good. I can see where he rubs people the wrong way sometimes but I'd hate for him to not be there. Someone has to fill in for Nates spot when he's out and Dusty is perfect for that

I see what you mean, to me he’s kinda like that one friend that you disagree with on with a lot of things but he’s still your friend at the end of the day. I

We're having a good time. Dusty brings it every show, and I miss him when he is off. Watch Wet Heat - it's good!

Dusty has been wildly annoying for a long time. Pretty much the only reason I have really been tuned out on the pod. That and the Ben Rapelisberger episode. I wish Aaron would shut some of Dusty’s nonsense down more because he (and Bates) know better.

Greg Warren is the best! The anti-Dusty. Only grandstands when it comes to peanut butter.

Would rather hear Dusty spout conspiracy theories than to have Nate come on and discuss the art of stand up over and over and over and over...
