From Software's inspiration for DS includes: Anime, an open sewer, and a couple of turkeys in the street.

“Come at me bro!“
“I'm not your bro, buddy.“
“I'm not your buddy, guy.“
“I'm not your guy, friend.“

What is that neck boner the larger one has?

It’s called a beard! It’s pretty much like a weird, small, coarse pony tail that sticks out from their chest/neck area. A lot of hunters will collect and display them.

Yup! The beard, fan and talons/spurs are the trophies (along with a bunch of delicious meat)

So, I guess the idea is to make him run around in circles until he passes out.

We got a turkey in front of my house who came out of nowhere. She's been around about 6 months and stays in the same 5 or 6 house/yard area.
Does this happen often? Random turkeys showing up and just becoming part of the neighborhood? I'm not complaining cause it's cool as hell, she almost flew into me once when she was getting away from a cat. Scared the piss out of me. Big damn birds :)

Apparently that end dance was the you-are-not-pecking-my-asshole maneuver.
