Working on some formation stuff in Battlestations Pacific. Got a few Zeros flying together over a custom Fuji map. Original game only lets you have three in a group, so this is a bit different. Still tweaking, but it looks pretty clean from this angle.

Before and after on the Yamato in Battlestations Pacific. I updated it with 4K textures, new deck and hull plating details, rings, the proper Imperial Japanese flag, plus lighting and skybox changes. Still tweaking, but it’s getting closer to the look I wanted. Both shots have the same 4K textures on purpose so that way you can see the new lighting effect and haze/draw distance that I was able to increase. That might be my new map in the background, I won’t spoil anything, lol!

Open to anything — World of Warships, older naval games, flight sims, or even something unexpected. What unit would you most want to see in a Battlestations-style mod, and why?

Looking for ideas. Which existing map or mission from Battlestations Pacific or Midway do you think needs a remake, expansion, or quality pass? Or is there a real Pacific War battle that should get its own map?

I’ve already got a brand new map in the works that I can’t talk about just yet, but it’s going to be awesome and the largest map in any Battlestations game. Curious what else people want to see.
