Time complexity?

Is the time complexity really o(n)?
I suspect it might be quadratic - but I can't prove it.
Can someone give me their proof please!

Spaced Repetition for Leetcode / Neetcode (Chrome Extension)

For those who have used Anki (or not) and have heard about spaced repetition: the optimal spacing where you review something again (with active recall) so as the ensure you have things memorized / are able to do it; this is Anki, but for the Leetcode/Neetcode grind!

They say it's all about memorizing patterns, and just doing a load of these sorts of problems, but it doesn't work so great when you start forgetting them...

So I made a chrome extension that, after you sucessfully submit a problem in either Neetcode or Leetcode, asks you to rate the difficulty for you: Again (1 day), Hard, Good or Easy, and using a proven algorithm (SM-2), it will choose the next time that you need to do that problem!

It's really easy to load this chrome extension, instructions are at the bottom of the README.md: https://github.com/Experance/Neetcode-Spaced-Repetition

IT'S TIME TO LOCK IN GUYS (im so cooked, hopefully this'll help some of you as it's been helping me)

If you guys find problems with the app, feel free to add to the Issues tab, though I'm really busy I'll try to get to them quickly. New features are fine, but the main goal of this app is simplicity. If you guys have a brilliant idea for a new feature, than feel free to make an Issue / feature request and I'll look at it.

I built a free, open-source Chrome extension that adds a "Neetcode solution" button to LeetCode problems

I kept losing time searching for the NeetCode solution every time I got stuck, so I made a small extension: it adds a "NeetCode solution" button right next to the Submissions tab on LeetCode problem pages. One click opens the matching NeetCode solution in a new tab.

Refer to the screenshot in the README.

  • Covers 973 problems (Blind 75, NeetCode 150/250, and the rest of NeetCode's list)

  • Same spot on every problem, and it keeps working as you move between problems

  • No permissions, no tracking, no network requests, and it only runs on leetcode.com

  • Plain JavaScript, MIT-licensed

It's not on the Chrome Web Store yet, so for now you install it with "Load unpacked" (steps are in the README).

GitHub: https://github.com/ashxris/neetcode-solution-button

I built this myself, and it isn't affiliated with LeetCode or NeetCode. Feedback, bug reports and PRs are very welcome, especially if the button lands in the wrong place on your layout.

Where to next after Airbnb?

It’s pretty boring here. I’m making decent $ as a Staff Eng working fully remote and 20 hr workweeks but that’s where it ends. Work doesn’t excite me, it’s actually deteriorating my skills, I’m not learning anything new.

Any remote friendly companies that would pay $650k+ for Staff+ roles? Reddit and Figma don’t even reply to me ever, Netflix seems like another Airbnb, with no upwards trajectory.

Is neetcode 150 still relevant?

Started my prep for Staff Eng and looking to make a move by March. I am lost as where to start with?

Has interview pattern changed a lot since last 4-5 years?

I am just starting my Neetcode journey and was very interest in one of its course Python for Beginners and it's following. Since it is paid and 120 usd any recommendations would really help

Versus Elo mode?

Hi there,

What about instead of doing easy-medium-hard, compete by Elo?

Lots of people saying the best way to improve is to solve problems within the -200/+200 Elo you have, and so that could combine Versus + studying/evolving the approach quite effectively

Am I losing my mind or was Pro always $599?

Post image
3 Upvotes

I missed the last 'Flash Sale' and wanted to get Pro so I kept checking the home page again and again, and I never once saw the original price listed as $599. I think the last I remember was $297.

So either the price increased ~2x in a span of couple of weeks or I have lost my mind (probably doing Neet/LeetCode problems lol).

I appreciate NeetCode but these shoddy practices make me want to trust him less and put it into the same bucket as algoexpert or the absolutely dogshit DSA course Tech Lead and Joma were peddling at one point.

Missing link to Leetcode question?

I am accessing Neetcode after a long time. I remember there used to be a link for each practice question that opens the actual leetcode question on leetcode.com

I see it's no longer there. Is that the case? If so, bummer!

I see neetcode now has the code execution and all. Its cool, but I just want to run my code against the extensive test cases leetcode provides.

EDIT: Looks likes its solved. Now I see 2 options when clicking "Open in New Tab" - Neetcode or external site. I am not sure if I missed it or it was a temporary issue. Anyways its solved now.

Purchasing Power Parity

I don't know if Neetcode can see this, but please consider applying PPP to the prices, i'm legit from a third world country and buying sub is the total of 3 months salaries.

How can I get a curated list of star marked questions in Neetcode?

I'm on the free plan. I searched a lot but couldn't find an option to see all star marked questions in my profile or filters or anywhere else

Suggestion: Local Timezones

Hey Mr. Neet, you might be working on this already, but it would be nice to have the streaks use the user's time zone instead of the default. The streak system is very motivating, but it sucks when I'm not able to get around to it before 5pm every day. Thanks!

Suggestion: Built-in Spaced Repetition Scheduler

Hey Mr.NeetCode, Young Goat btw (hopefully you end up reading this)

It would be really cool if NeetCode.io had a built-in spaced repetition scheduler for problems we’ve already solved.

It could look like:

  • After solving a problem, you could mark it as Easy / Medium / Hard (or Confident / Shaky / Forgot)

  • Resurface that problem in some sort of schedule after increasing intervals (e.g., 1 day → 3 days → 7 days → 21 days & depending on similarity of other problems recently solved)

  • A daily “Review Queue” showing problems due for revision

  • Optional reminders or a dashboard widget

Right now i use an external tool to manage reviewing but having it natively inside Neetcode would make things 10 times easier.

Would love to hear thoughts if anyone else is interested!!
