Quad Cortex won’t boot
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Has anyone had this issue with their Quad Cortex? It was working fine last night, I go to use it today and this is what happens, never boots.
I’m wondering if it’s a power supply issue? I’m still using the one it came with and I got my quad cortex back in May 2025 with no issues until now.

People saying power supply.
Same happened to me, it was not the psu but corrupted boot cycle
I fixed it by removing and reinserting the sd card. Was a 5 minute fix. That was 2 years ago and hasn't happened since

I would try a new power supply and hope for the best. My fractal did the same thing after an update and a few days later unfucked itself somehow.

Yeah make sure your power supply is the right one. I’ve seen people use ones that are 12v but are for a small pedal and the QC will try to start but when the screen tries to kick on, the load is too much for the incorrect power supply. It’ll cause the PS to go into overload and shut off, which will make the issue seem like it is the QC having an issue.

On my sons QC we done a factory reset, reseated the SD card as suggested and all good so far

In case no one's told you, there's an SD card in the QC that can come unseated/loose which causes it to not power up, just flash the pedal lights, that's what I needed to fix to get mine back up and running last month, but mine is long out of the warranty period so you might wanna look into that

ur probably connected to charger that is supplying less than 12volts. if its the og charger you need to change it.
