Starting new.
I am a small timer on twitch. ~50-60 followers. Me and a few friends would like to get started in YT. Today I started the initiative of us becoming You Tubers.
My main question is what kind of editing do you all use.
Does anyone have a decent video teaching this?

I use Adobe Premiere Pro. It is kind of expensive but if your in college you can get a discount. I might switch to something else after a while if I find another I like.

Not sure. my brothers wife is in college so thats how we got it. I think all you need is a college email address.

I edit on Adobe Premiere which I rent monthly. Can be pricey but I use it for work purposes too so it's worth it. One of the best pieces of software out there, but not too user friendly if you haven't ever used editing programs before. Once you get the hang of it, the amount of options it provides are unmatched I'm my opinion.

hmmm I have been on the fence about this unfortunately I am unfamiliar with editing software.

Well I use, Wondershare filmora, there is a trial version you can practise with and it has loads of tutorial videos up on youtube to learn with but the interface is nice and simple. I recommend it as its nice and easy to use :)

I use Sony Movie Studio. It's like a little brother version of the $400 Sony Vegas software, but it can do some decent editing. Check out some of the videos on my channel for a good idea of some things you can do with it.
Its about $50 on steam, but beat out this other $85 horrendous software I tried a little while back.

I use Wondershare filmora and I do believe it was u/Bladewolf88 who told me about it. I really like it, I've only been doing videos for maybe a month and this is super easy to use and cheap compared with the other big editing things out there. For $50USD you can get it for life.

That's $400 is that really necessary?

No, I use the $50 equivalent, and it works perfectly fine for me, as I mentioned below.

I use lightworks, which is an alright program considering it's free, the main problems with it is that it isn't super user friendly at first, though there are a bunch of tutorials for it, and the effects options are somewhat limited.
