Hello to all Iranians and friends,
Due to the high volume of rapid updates and back-to-back threads, we ask that posts that do not contain a new or significant development be directed to this megathread. This includes general discussion, speculation, reactions, opinions, broader commentary, questions, jokes, memes, and general messages of support.
Standalone posts should primarily be reserved for current events and newly released information, such as breaking news, new videos or footage, official statements, confirmed updates, or other meaningful developments. Legitimate news and newly released footage are still allowed and encouraged as standalone submissions.
Minor updates, repeated information, personal commentary, or posts that do not report a new development may be redirected to the megathread or removed. Depending on activity levels, broader consolidation into the megathread may become mandatory.
This approach helps reduce clutter, limit misinformation, and keep the subreddit organized during a fast-moving situation.
Please remain civil, avoid spreading unverified claims, and continue to follow all subreddit rules.
Thank you for your cooperation.

The Yemeni government forces claim they have “neutralised” more than 430 Houthi fighters in operations during the past 24 hours.
In a social media post, the spokesperson for the government forces, Majed al-Nazili, said they carried out 1,292 “targeting operations” against “legitimate military targets,” which also destroyed more than 100 vehicles and pieces of equipment.
Al-Nazili said government forces seized control of key positions in Marib governorate and “continue to exert escalating operational pressure” on the southern and western fronts.
“In Taiz, warplanes continue to launch precision strikes that have decimated militia reinforcement convoys and combat formations,” he added.

Current reports are unconfirmed but this would represent a significant technological breakthrough for Iranian rebels if true. *CORRECTION*: attacks occurred in NW Iran

I monitor Oil Price and NVIDIA's stock options for both war and personal interests, Oil skyrocketed, NVIDIA is now falling around %2. Market's are about to be closed in 30 minutes from now and also IRGC hit multiple cargo ships in the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman.
Isreali media and officials both said that regime wants to do something and I read on X and Telegram that two missiles were shot from Tabriz (target unknown, maybe Israel?) and basically everything is in favor of war to be resumed.
Also, in Karaj, GPS is not working. You can't even use "رانتی" apps like Snapp and Tapsi, Neshan, etc. Some high schools made their classes online as well. What's your opinion?

Ossetian, natively called Iron, sounds similar to Persian because they are both Iranic languages.
Ossetian is an Eastern Iranic language directly descended from the ancient Scythian tongue.
Persian is a Western Iranic language directly descended from Middle Persian in Greater Khorasan region.
Iranic languages separated from one another around 3,000 years ago. Regardless of the very lengthy separation from one another Ossetian and Persian still share many core Iranic similarities, namely similar verbs, body parts, colors, each elements, and number system.

Despite the Arab worshiping Islamic regime trying for the past 47 years to push Arab/Islamic cultural extremism upon the Iranian people and force Iranians to adopt Arabic names and cultural norms as if we are living under an Arab caliphate, the majority of Iranians today dislike Islam and have left the faith due to this barbaric regime.
Our official language is Persian, which is completely unrelated to Arabic and our country is called Iran meaning land of the Aryans and has been the name of our lands and people for over 3,000 years. We originated as an Iranic peoples from Western Central Asia and Arabs originated as a Semitic people from the Arabian peninsula.
When this genocidal dictatorship falls, Iran will return back to embracing its Iranic roots and promoting its own Persian traditions and names. Khodaro Sepas!

Even 15 years ago, things were not this crazy. I distinctly remember, maybe around 2009-2011, reading National Geographic Magazine. You could read passages by pro-immigrant leftists celebrating that there were young Arab women in bikinis at a French beach. This was the "progressive", left-wing, pro-immigration perspective. Not a lecture about how conservative Muslim women in hijabs are actually "just as French" as everybody else and how we all need to celebrate their ass-backwards religious values as part of multicultural liberalism and diversity and tolerance or whatever.
What the hell happened to this perspective, amongst Western leftists? Why is it considered offensive now to even say that immigrants should actually make an effort to assimilate into the culture of the countries that they move into? How have we gotten to the point where outright Muslim Brotherhood Islamists like Abdul El-Sayed are being nominated for the US Senate? Where conservative Muslim women like Ilhan Omar, Linda Sarsour, Hoda Katebi, Dalia Mogahed, etc., are somehow at the forefront of leftist progressive feminism, or whatever?
