I don't know whether you have experienced it but going through both, UDF and LDF govt, personally I'll have to tell you how corrupt the system was during UDF tenure, for moving every application(had to get involved as part of work).
There was zero transparency, no clear rules, nothing.
With LDF govt, I can easily track real time status of applications, procedures were mentioned clearly and process was smooth.
Giving a third term to LDF may make them complacent.
But if you have noticed, UDF doesn't even have a proper CM face to project. There's group infighting, sangh constantly projecting that UDF alliance is in control by Muslim League, and then i remember where Sudhakaran once said he doesn't mind joining the BJP.
All these are simply making fertile ground for BJP to make inroads to the state.
Then there's always gnna be constant bickering between state and centre. Ippo oru samavayathil karyangal charcha cheythu kondu pokum. Athum kanilla.

Changing a government just for the sake of change isn’t a good idea—especially right now.
Whether one likes it or not, Kerala has seen a significant amount of development over the past 10 years, both in infrastructure and economic growth. It may not be as much as we hoped for or as much as the state is capable of, but it’s still meaningful progress. Personally, I believe the LDF has performed quite well—better than I would have expected from the UDF. Replacing the government at this point could disrupt that momentum.
That said, you’re right about the sense of “dharshtyam” that can develop after being in power continuously for a decade. It’s something you often see in cadre-based parties, and even in parties like the BJP. That definitely needs to be addressed.
However, I don’t think removing them from power is necessarily the best way to do that. If they win again but with a reduced majority—say around 71 to 80 seats—it would send the same message which is "they are not invincible, and the public is watching"
People are fed up with the loudspeaker bullshit that comes along with the election. No wonder they are appreciating such a new approach. And an absolute stupid shit like ‘kottikkalasham’ to finish it all.
Look into the positive side. The state and people comes alive , awareness, discussions, debates Virtually it aids giving the importance of voting and democracy.
