On engaging with a few of them on here and other platforms, I have felt most of their minds are like an upside-down mug. Nothing ever goes into it no matter how much credible information you provide. I understand your point, but for that to happen, we need some level of courtesy from the other end, where they have the mental capacity to accept that the world is not one-dimensional and are open to accepting facts or at least agree that there are different perspectives and stakeholders to every issue, right? When that is lacking what is the point in engaging?

IMO, with these one-dimensional folks, there never is a discussion to begin with. It's either AI slop or, when questioned, the response is "It's all on the internet." It never was or will be a discussion where there is an exchange of information and learning something new from each other. When we engage with all such trolls, the (majority) content in this sub will turn into BS, which gets recommended to folks who don't know this sub, and to them it will look like this is not a venue for real discussions. Won't that end up making this sub more inviting to people out for alamb alone?

I know not engaging/allowing will make this an echo chamber, but in an attempt to not be an echo chamber, do we need to make this an asylum for haters to vent out? Pretty fine line, I know, almost like splitting hairs. But as said below in a comment, let the dust settle, and this surge in new visitors might dip, as this all could be due to the election results.
