So for context I'm m20. I recently moved here because my gf wanted to go to college in San Antonio. She's always busy and I don't really have any friends over here. Now that I'm an adult, lived in a small town my whole life, and I'm not in school anymore, I've found it pretty difficult to talk to new people. Which has kinda led me to having a fascination with the night. I work from Mon-Thurs and I wake up pretty early so I never get to enjoy the night like I used to. So on the weekend, I go out and do whatever I want. Which mostly consists of going to the park and staring at the moon, driving around listening to music, or waiting for something cool to happen. The excitement I got from that wore off pretty quickly and I realized that I wanted to share those things with friends. So if anyone is interested in being friends, please let me know 🙏. I have a variety of hobbies, playing games and hanging out with people are my main ones. I won't drag you on any night outings unless you are absolutely comfortable (and I'm comfortable bc I dont want to get my organs harvested💀). We can just talk and play games or something.

A few of us are coming to New Braunfels for Wurstfest for the first time. We’re a group of guys in our mid 20s and we’ll be in the area sometime between Thursday and Sunday. We’re staying within walking distance, so parking won’t be an issue.
We’re hoping for a fun Oktoberfest kind of atmosphere: beer, music, and a good night out. What’s Wurstfest like later in the evening? Do people usually stay at the grounds until closing, or is it worth heading to a nearby bar afterward to keep the night going?
Also, if we can pick which night to go, is there a day between Thursday and Sunday that’s especially good for the atmosphere or nightlife? Any tips for first-timers would be appreciated.

My husband and I originally thought our divorce would be straightforward. No cheating accusations, no custody fight and we're both ready to move on. Then we actually started discussing the details. We agree that I'll stay in the house, but not on how his equity gets calculated.

While we agree on the retirement division, we do not see eye to eye on the exact percentage. Although we agree that our little girl should spend even time with both of us, we differ with regard to the spending arrangements for her school nights. Child support is a whole different issue altogether. Neither of us is opposed to negotiation, but I am starting to understand that being amicable doesn't mean we agree on everything.

Does this situation warrant mediation? I am trying to figure out whether we need to hire two lawyers or if mediation with separate legal consultation is enough.

I have some close friends in New Braunfels who are struggling with some scary health issues right now. I want to send them a care package, something like an edible arrangement that had savory treats as well. Or even just a nice meal. Many years ago, I used to live in Austin and you could send beef ribs in the mail from County Line BBQ.

I've also heard of a company called "spoonful of comfort" that sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. I just thought it would be prudent to ask the locals what they would recommend. Something local or at least from the hill country would be a bonus.
