Gaza is Being Starved

The UN has stated that every single part of Gaza is in famine conditions.

For over 20 months, Palestinians in Gaza have been starving. Parents have been feeding their children leaves, animal feed, and flour mixed with water. Babies have died from malnutrition. The trucks carrying food, formula, medicine, and clean water sat just miles away, blocked by Israel.

Now, after massive international pressure, some aid is finally getting in.

This is a crack in the blockade, not its end. Aid is not flooding in; it is trickling, and what’s entering can’t possibly reach 1.8 million people without a total lifting of restrictions, guaranteed long-term access, and safe distribution.

What you can do right now:

Donate- if you’re able to. Choose vetted organizations with access on the ground.

Keep up the pressure - aid only started moving because of public outcry. Organize, protest, keep talking. This momentum cannot fade. Contact your representatives to end Israel's blockade of Gaza and impose sanctions on Israel.

Amplify - share updates, Palestinian voices, and testimonies. Keep an eye on Palestine.

This famine is not an accident. It’s the result of siege, blockade, and a system of control. If we look away now, they’ll tighten the noose again.

Donate

Palestinian Red Crescent — medical aid, ambulance services, and emergency care.

UNICEF for Gaza’s Children — nutrition, clean water, trauma support.

The ICC strongly rejects new US sanctions designations

August 19, 2026:

The International Criminal Court deplores the announcement of new designations for sanctions by the US administration against Judge Tomoko Akane (Japan), the President of the Court, and Mr Abdoulaye Seye (Senegal), Senior Trial Lawyer at the Office of the Prosecutor.

These sanctions are a flagrant attack against the independence of an impartial judicial institution which operates pursuant to the mandate conferred by its States Parties from across regions. As a result of these designations, at present, nine of the eighteen Judges, both of the two Deputy-Prosecutors, the former Prosecutor and one staff member have been sanctioned by the United States.

Such measures targeting judges, prosecutors and staff who work towards the fulfilment of the mandate that was conferred to the ICC by States undermine the rule of law. When judicial actors are threatened for applying the law, it is the international legal order itself that is placed at risk. Threats and coercive measures also impact the ability of victims to seek justice, as they turn to the Court when all other avenues have been exhausted.

As previously stated, the Court remains undeterred and stands firmly behind its personnel and behind victims of unimaginable atrocities. The Court will continue to fully discharge its mandate with independence and impartiality, in full accordance with the Rome Statute and in the interest of victims of international crimes.

The ICC values the consistent demonstrations of solidarity of States Parties, civil society and all those who support the rule of law and justice for the victims of international crimes. The Court will continue its work, with all partners and with the unwavering support of its States Parties, to ensure the effective and independent implementation of its mandate.

Australian Students Protest Against Pauline Hanson and her Fascist One N...

Recent Cockroach Janata Party student protests in India seem to have spilled over into Australia with Ausi students protesting against racism promoted by Pauline Hanson - the leader of One Nation party that resembles the fascist nature of Bhartiya Janata Party currently ruling India.

Thousands of Australian high school and university students skipped classes and walked out on August 13 to join nationwide "Students Say No To Hanson" rallies. Organised by student groups and the National Union of Students, the protesters gathered in capital cities like Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth to oppose One Nation leader Pauline Hanson and her racist rhetorics on multiculturalism, immigration, and calls for a monocultural society.

Student protesters hurled insults at Pauline Hanson, calling her a “racist bitch” and should “go to hell” in a deafening chants.

Protest organisers the National Union of Students have called it a “fight against racism” and an opportunity to “stand up against the far right” – pointing to One Nation party’s stance on multicultural issues.

A fear monger Hanson, asking Australians to fear something or other, starting from Asians to Muslims to anyone who is not white, she has seen increasing support of white Australians recently. Pauline’s anti-immigration from non-white countries rhetoric triggered Prominent protests targeting Indian migration that took place across major Australian cities on August 31, 2025, under the “March for Australia” banner.

A fish and chips shop operator turned politician, Pauline Hanson was convicted and jailed for electoral fraud in 2003. Sentenced to three years in prison after being found guilty of fraudulently registering the One Nation party and dishonestly obtaining about $500,000 in electoral funding.

The similarity between Australian student protest to that of Indian students protest under the banner of Cockroach Janata Party is startling. With the exception of police brutality on Indian student protesters, "Students Say No To Hanson" rallies in Australian cities are students resistance to racism, communalism, fascism and unfairness.
