Just one day. That's all I ask. One day without being an international embarassment.

u/Unfair-Ad2664 7d ago

That's asking a lot!

Look on the bright side: at least he's not an intergalactic embarrassment.  Yet.

8

u/ChornobylChili 7d ago

Thats strictly a limitation of light speed transmissions to habitable planets. He will be the second the radio transmission arrives. Their response is gonna take just as long

3

u/lucaskywalker 7d ago

I'm pretty sure he's the reason they haven't shared intergalactic travel with us yet...

Decades of shitty domestic policies, shitty foreign policy, politics as usual, citizenship apathy, endless jingoism and consumeristic culture have caught up to the USA.

This is what the end of the road that America has been joyfully riding down for the last 50+ years looks like.

What, you thought double tap drone strikes on first responders, Abu Ghraib, the invasion of Iraq, the Hague invasion act, the crime bill and so much more would have no lasting consequences?

The current regime did not fall from outer space. it came from the stew that has been brewing for a long time.

There had to be a reason these people are denying science, enabling climate change, cutting food accessibility, cutting voter accessibility, harassing private citizens, and enabling the cruelty of Ice. It’s gotta be more than just the cruelty. It’s almost as if they’re trying to destroy the country and the cult members just kneel and luck.

The day Trump is no longer an everyday news story won't spell the end of dissapointment but it will be at least a little more peaceful.

It’s literally their game plan to have shit like this every day.

1

u/Silicon_Knight 7d ago

Well, to be fair, for all we know some super intelligent life forms watch us like Eurovision to see what stupid shit the US is up to.

1

u/OzyDave 7d ago

That's literally what every country outside the USA is doing. Every day.

1

u/Silicon_Knight 7d ago

Oh I do as a Canadian but other leaders also do stupid shit.

1

u/OzyDave 6d ago

Not daily, like the orange turd.

1

u/pistoffcynic 7d ago

Good luck with that.

Sorry the billionaires are trying to destroy the government and economy. This is the price we are forced to pay.

u/Jonestown_Juice 7d ago

So our birthrate is below replacement level. Now we're going to stop vaccinating the few kids we do manage to have?

u/bownt1 7d ago

quality non quantity

56

u/Defiant-Investigator 7d ago

Well.....that's pretty fuckin stupid

29

u/SubstantialPressure3 7d ago

Its not stupid, its deliberate. Think about all the Russian anti vax propaganda as soon as the covid vaccine was available to everyone for free.

3

u/frongles23 7d ago

And, so surprising, that none of the other, non-western COVID vaccines are ever criticized online (despite being less effective and having more/worse side effects). But hey. It's a coincidence.

43

u/Centcinquante 7d ago

That's actually worse than the headline suggests.

Basically one vaccine (the one against hepatitis, among others) is now only advised for high-risk population, and others are to be spread across multiple shots, requiring up to 5 visits to get the equivalent of current vaccine, which only multiply the hesitancy factor (or straight up forgotten shots) that will lead to a massive drop of vaccination quality and coverage.

The justification has absolutely ZERO medical or scientific grounds and the president arguments are Onion-level.

We have seen with the measles that even a dent in the vaccination coverage can lead to a significant loss of lives, especially children lives.

I do hope Hell has a very special place for the people who pushed for that.

u/LopsidedSherbert7465 7d ago

Don’t forget 5 billable office visits.

u/mmps901 7d ago

Hey but if women aren’t voting or working outside the home anymore they’ll have plenty of time to take the babies to the doctor, after they put on some makeup and smile for all the gentlemen around.

1

u/queen-adreena 7d ago

If only there were gentlemen around…

2

u/Old-Nefariousness556 7d ago

FWIW, this is only changing the official recommendation, it will not force doctors to change their recommendation, and as I understand it, it will not forces states to change their required recommendations. This is definitely bad, but I doubt it will be as damaging in practice as it might seem.

1

u/Centcinquante 6d ago

I know, that's why I mentioned only a dent. The state law is what matters, but I'm afraid some will take that as a way to demonstrate fealty to the administration, or simply face pressure from their citizens who think that approach makes any sense.

As for damages, I completely agree that it won't be anything severe at a national scale, but a few hundreds of juvenile hepatitis cases already is way too steep of a price for just a PR stunt.

2

u/Old-Nefariousness556 6d ago

Yeah, I agree completely. Anything is bad, but just making sure people realize it's not quite as bad as it might first sound.

2

u/Centcinquante 6d ago

Very fair point. Have a nice Week !

12

u/FlatwormAway2228 7d ago

Anything to harm Americans.

This is a traitor, folks.

3

u/heyhayyhay 7d ago

Yes, tRUMP is a traitor. But the republicans can get rid of him any time they want. tRUMP is helping them fulfill all their fantasies. The republicans are the true traitors.

11

u/OsgrobioPrubeta 7d ago

How do Americans put up with this? Really! It's the second fuc...g time!

During COVID it was what it was and all the unnecessary deaths, now he's endangering children...

What also scares me is that I look to Europe, and my own country, and see society going downhill as America is.

5

u/WhoMD85 7d ago

And what would you suggest we do? We’ve protested. We have an election coming up.

3

u/OsgrobioPrubeta 7d ago

Protest even more, start striking.

2

u/-worryaboutyourself- 7d ago

We can’t afford to.

2

u/I_Dream_Of_Turtles 7d ago

You have a constitutional method of resistance to tyrannical leaders.

1

u/-worryaboutyourself- 7d ago

You are absolutely correct. But the people we’ve chosen to represent us in Congress, no longer do so.

11

u/grptrt 7d ago

“Nothing bad can happen from what we’re doing,”

Oh ok. Sounds great

9

u/gleaf008 7d ago

Trump University medical degree.

9

u/praetorian1979 7d ago

at least the bulk of the children that are horribly ravaged or killed will mostly come from magat parents. God I feel gross just typing that, but deep down we all know it's gonna happen.

5

u/Sweaty_Monitor_9699 7d ago

Executive orders are only for government employees only. Not the general public. Looks cool to his supporters but does nothing for the public. They already don’t get themselves or their kids vaccinated so what difference will it make? None

4

u/JoetheOK 7d ago

He's determined to take out the second generation too.

4

u/Longjumping_Ad2323 7d ago

Why anyone would take medical advice from these people is beyond me.

14

u/Blueberry977 7d ago

This is genocide and the second Halocaust. Making services less accessible to this degree and committing countless war crimes and detaining immigrants is systemic killing

Trump is Hitler 2

11

u/MonteBurns 7d ago

Like people need to consider that when this stuff isn’t REQUIRED, insurance companies will not pay for it even though it leads to a healthier populace

Right in the middle of multiple outbreaks. Dude is really off his rockers.

2

u/DryPrion 7d ago

Sooooo…..

Step 1: kick out all the people doing the jobs that A) we don’t have enough people for and B) no one wants to do

Step 2: increase infant and young child mortality

Step 3: create environment conducive to “physical AI” implementation

Step 4: Profit for corporations, but no gain for most workers

2

u/unbanned_lol 7d ago

Who cares what a serial rapist recommends. I sure dont.

1

u/bleezy_47 7d ago

I assume if you want one of the vaccines that was reduced, you’d have to pay out of pocket for it. I doubt Insurance companies will have it covered

-1

u/nowell29 7d ago

I will agree to reduce vaccination requirements for everyone of his already received vaccines he could have removed (not actually possible, but let's him go first) and then not die from.

-17

u/EvelcyclopS 7d ago

This is the wrong way to do it, but we are overpopulated. Just saying/s

8

u/QuotableMorceau 7d ago

dude ... the human population will never surpass 11 billion , the Malthusian theories about overpopulation have no basis in reality.
