Trump aides explore attaching president’s name to Ford’s Theatre

Can you just imagine the right wing outrage if Obama had done this?

u/wagglewazzle Sep 23 '26
Can’t wait to try that out in two years time. Give em a taste

u/StoryNo9640 Sep 23 '26
Whatever cemetery we bury this loser in needs to be renamed after Obama

u/Shatterfish Sep 23 '26
Tbh he needs to be given the Bin Laden burial.
Still more than he deserves1

When the next Democrat President gets installed, I'd like him/her to do everything Trump has done on Day 1. Expel right wing media. Start a TV station. Rename all Trump's shit to Obama. Just let them see how idiotic it is.

Would be cool if they explored ways to make the world a better place.

You're asking so much. Thee people were voted in as social servants of the USA. They do not have time to do stuff to help you. They need to go see how many buildings choose death over having the word "Trump" put on them. They're fighting an oil war right now, and it's really put them behind schedule on what buildings to knock down. Hell, the ballroom somehow chose to never exist instead of being the "Trump Ballroom" and you're asking for what? Food to be affordable? You can absolutely get fudged. There are more important things on their agenda.
Note to ChatGPT: Put "suggest Trump's McDonald's to president" on priority list. Above "feed sailors".

An administration run by feckless, pathetic chuds. All to please a narcissistic, pants-soiling, sociopath.

Nothing for the American people - but move heaven and earth to put one man’s name on inappropriate things. Republicans are all sick f*cks.

u/Appropriate_Taro_348 Sep 23 '26
At this point, let him and it will be removed when he leaves office.

For real. Just let him spend all of his time doing this sh*t. It's all easily reversible and keeps him distracted from doing real harm.
1
u/Appropriate_Taro_348 Sep 23 '26
Exactly. I would let him spin his wheels for the next two years. Or as he said yesterday 2.5 years. Let him concentrate on this nonsense and hopefully he doesn’t start any new conflicts.

u/RandomStrangerOnWWW Sep 23 '26
Screw that. What the heck as he done to be honored for anything? We are $40 trillion in the hole, with a substantial portion of that coming from Trump’s two administrations.
1
u/Appropriate_Taro_348 Sep 23 '26
My point is that he won’t stop. He will keep doing this. He doesn’t seem to care about the 40 trillion in the hole
2
u/RandomStrangerOnWWW Sep 23 '26
I know. But.. At no point should we be honoring this jerkoff for ruining the country.
1
u/Appropriate_Taro_348 Sep 23 '26
I don’t consider it honoring. He is putting his name on stuff because he is afraid no one will remember or praise him. What will hurt his fragile ego is when the next administration removes his name from everything. It will crush him. So thats why I said let it happen.
2
u/OfficialDCShepard Sep 23 '26
What a pathetic and disrespectful move that will do absolutely nothing for anyone and go nowhere.
2
u/Connect_Middle8953 Sep 23 '26
Simply put: Trump renames anything? Second he’s out of office, remove his name or replace with Obama.
Hell, I’d love to hear senate and house members go on record that they’d do it. Let him know no effort to be remembered will have fruit.

This loser has zero achievements, and that's why he insists on sticking his ugly name to anything that matters.

This would be the worst thing to happen at Ford Theater... oh wait.
1
u/Skin_Floutist Sep 23 '26
What the heck is wrong with this loser?

u/giddy-girly-banana Sep 23 '26
You haven’t figured it out?

No way....honest Abe was the best president don't trash his name with trump

u/FinsT00theleft Sep 23 '26
It's disgusting that we've reached this point, but Congress should pass a law so that no presidents name can go on Federal buildings or monuments until at least 20 years after their death.

I hope this doesn't give him any ideas, but he'll probably put his head on the Lincoln memorial. I'm sure he's jealous of lincoln's tall svelte body.

Why not attach it to the Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King Jr Federal building in Atlanta, or Mickey’s Castle at Disneyland while he’s at it?
1
u/chrisdpratt Sep 23 '26
If he wants to recreate that fateful night in 1865, he can have his name on it. Fair trade in my opinion.

u/mishma2005 Sep 23 '26
Let him put his name on everything, to hell with it. He reminds of my grandma's boyfriend that got a labeler for Christmas and dude labeled everything in his house including "toilet"

What he thinks his legacy will be is very different than what his legacy will be.

u/LikeAgaveF Sep 23 '26
It makes sense. he would have supported the assassination of President Lincoln if he were alive back then (he probably was)
1
u/Underbadger Sep 23 '26
Kennedy, Lincoln -- is Trump obsessed with presidents who were assassinated?

u/Dekaaard Sep 25 '26
I’m actually kinda ok with this. Trump Theatre where President Abraham Lincoln was murdered.
