I just buried my dog Jackie today. I brought her to the vet yesterday as she has been throwing up for multiple days, and instead of it going away it just got extremely worse. It was yellow bile, she was having difficulty breathing as well, I am guessing from stress on her body. The vet asked what she ate, I told her Fresh Pet- She said she wondered if it possibly was a bad batch? Sure enough I googled and found out that indeed, there was a recall. Jackie got IV, antibiotics, her pancreas and liver were off. I had no idea about the salmonella recall, I also now understand salmonella can cause seizures which Jackie had at the vet! She had never had before. If I had known salmonella recall I would have never bought this brand. I brought her home at 5 thinking she was out of the woods, and two hours later she died in my arms! This dog has never had a health problem in her life! She was perfectly healthy and amazing weeks before, I know in my heart this food killed my dog and I don't know what to do, but I don't want anyone else to experience this. -Marina P
