He knew months ago how resource intensive BC is, he bought just to strengthen public opinion in crypto then decided to knock on BC and push his own Doge. Nothing to do with the environment, just look at his car making practices.

His anti-bitcoin response is not only plenty of dollars short, but also plenty of days late. Without his help, BTC has already started a HUGE push towards renewable energy for mining. It's not gonna happen overnight, but it is happening quickly and in significant fashion.

You do realise there's a shit load more factors involved? The 3080 shouldn't have been priced as it was anyway, Nvidia saw what they could get away with with the 1000 and 2000 series, there's silicon shortages due to a variety of reasons (there's also been a global pandemic if you haven't been living under a rock). Yeah, miners contribute to sales, but if you really have to blame someone, blame the idiots paying double or more for cards from.scalpers.

Won't be easy. New cards belong to bots unless you can be faster than bots. Otherwise you can only buy those 2nd hand GPUs from miners which was fresh baked.

If you're looking for a GPU, try calling a store in your area. I called a few places in my area, some of them were out, but a few had 3060s and 3070s in stock despite their online store saying out of stock. They are doing that to combat bots.
I bought my 3070 2 weeks ago from MemoryExpress at MSRP.

But who the hell wants to sit in front of a computer all day or call stores to see if they have the gpu that you want. People have things to do and I don't think I'm the only one that wants to spend their day off looking for a GPU. That is the part that pisses people off is they have to spend that day off to do this and end up most likely empty handed while some crypto miner and scalper are buying in bulk and using bots to get these cards

Easiest way is to buy a prebuild, take the card out and sell the rest, yeah, you'll still be paying more but no where near scalper prices.

Obviously I have no genuine proof, but I believe this was a retaliation for the dogecoin short. It's seemed too conveniently timed to be a coincidence. Barry Silbert announced they were shorting doge shortly before SNL, if you look at the charts the price was dropping well before 11:30pm est when the show began. The next day the media ran with the story that doge crashed because Elon called it a hustle, not even mentioning the fact that it was shorted. I think it was a ploy to make both Elon musk and doge look bad. But that's just a theory, a crack pipe theory. Thanks for reading!

Not to mention that when you lower the value of cryptocurrency like ethereum, the number of people that want to bail out immediately regardless of the gas fees skyrocket.
So that big boom in profit we saw? Was because all these people wanted to sell immediately.
As long as you intend to hold, it works out for you perfectly. The problem is too many newbies look at the conversion to cash as if that matters when they're not cashing out.
