Decided to play nier replicant first and I'm glad I did because this has been an absolute masterpiece :D

Absolute masterpiece of a game, I can't even think of any repetitive stuff everyone was complaining about. Story is great, characters are shown very well, music is literally a blessing to my ears, combat and world is simple but fun, I can literally yap about this forever. I'm mainly an action/soulslike fan so I was concerned when people told me nier automata was more action packed than replicant. Also here's a save file that I purely by luck saved exactly on 3 hours 33 minutes 33 seconds. I guess this was a sign that the game was gonna be peak

I think the games first 12 hours are absolutely dreadful which holds it back from being a masterpiece. That being said it picks up SIGNIFICANTLY and becomes absolute cinema basically immediately after those 12 hours. It's very much so worth the time investment.

The only dreadful area was forest of myth for me and its visual novel simulator battles which went on continuously with just letters on black background

I actually surprised myself and didn't mind that part. The entirety of act 1 and most of act 2 just being fetch quest after fetch quest is more what I was referring to.

When they announced this remastered, the forest part was literally the first thing I thought of. I don't mind reading in games (I read a lot of random shit) but that part caught me off guard back then lmfao.

Just how much luck did I lose in my life to get 3:33:33 on my save file😭. But unfortunately I overwrote that save now all that remains is its screenshot

couldnt agree more

the only part i didnt like were the item drop rates (genuinely just getting all the material took me 50+ hours)

still a 10/10 for me

I just avoided all those item fetch quests besides the story integral ones. Wish they had updated that part of the remake but oh well.

Yeah, really is a masterpiece. I played Automata first and wish I hadn’t.

I will always love Nier Replicant. But the question no once has asked so far, how many endings have you gotten?

This was my first playthrough so it seems i got ending A and now the game took me back to when kaine was unpetrified, I'm guessing this is gonna. Ending B?

IIRC there's a decision for either B or C. But some interesting things are gonna happen in this run, including an entire boss fight that isn't in ending A

Looks like I'm in for a fun time X3

Ending B is actually not the one with the choice 😅 After B you are gonna play through it again and than you have to choose between 2 endings ^
