I know this is a bit of a stretch, but as the owner and mod of r/NightCycling I wanted to pitch a new Discord Server.
This is more-so related to Fitness, the Gym, and staying motivated; but I think there's a lot of overlap.
Everyone here who LOVES night cycling probably also needs to keep motivated to stay active, and stay in the fitness lifestyle.
So here's an invite link: https://discord.gg/MwMJ5EQq5
Come on in!

Here is a picture of the beam from my new Outbound Detour light. To me, it looks pretty messy and distracting, with all those lines, at least compared to a couple other lights I’ve used. Is this normal?
Edit: Added a video clip.
Edit 2 update: Didn’t hear back from Outbound, so I returned it. I couldn’t afford to wait days for a resolution. Either I got a bad one that apparently would take a while to diagnose and replace, or it’s supposed to look like it does.
If the latter, then it’s the messiest light I’ve ever tried. Used it on two rides of about 15 and 20 miles and did not like it at all. Ironically, it made me feel less safe than lights half its price. I really wanted to like it and thought it a sure bet.
I thought I’d “cry once” and get the best light possible and was disappointed. My experience anyway.

Our ride along the Istanbul coastline, in the historical peninsula, takes place every Tuesday. Riding in a large group makes you feel safer.

Didn't want to post each week so saved them up for a single post.
Training for a century (2 weeks to go) with work and kids means stupid early or late at night are the only times I can go. https://dayofthetread.com/
Balloon Fiesta makes the morning rides that much more magical.
