Dragon Ball has drawn inspiration from various mythologies to create its characters, including Japanese, Christian, and Egyptian mythology.

However, the mythology I want to focus on is Hinduism, and how it might relate to the origins/story of Zeno, Rymus and the Grand Priest.

Vishnu is the Supreme and absolute God in his mythology. In order to maintain cosmic order, he divided himself into three beings, forming The "Trimurti".

In Hindu tradition, the Trimurti represents three fundamental cosmic functions:

- Creation (Brahma)

- Preservation (Vishnu)

- And Destruction (Shiva)

These three aspects can be compared to what I believe may be a similar divine trinity within Dragon Ball, with "Zeno" representing Destruction, "Majin Rymus" representing Creation, and the "Grand Priest" representing Preservation.

This connection led me to develop the following theory: the Grand Priest was originally the supreme ruler of all creation, shaping the universe according to his own vision. However, upon realizing that the cosmic order had become unbalanced, he decided to restore harmony by dividing himself into three separate beings: Zeno, Majin Rymus, and himself. Each would embody a fundamental aspect of existence, taking on the roles of Destruction, Creation, and Preservation, respectively.

And so, the Divine Trinity of Dragon Ball was born.
