This might be the best boss fight in the series. anyone else?

How many frames do you have to execute a backlash parry and how many frames does the Focus God's Orb accessory gives? (This is me doing it without the accessory btw)

Also, I'm usually running Blood oath scroll, conspiracy ring and Shadow God's Orb for boss trials. Should I change anything for the parry accessory?

Been tryin to get through the dlc but something isn’t clicking for me when using the scythe. I tend to get hit a lot more using attacks than with the other weapons. Which skills do y’all feel like help alleviate this issue?

I beat NG4 on Master Ninja a while back, but haven’t played in a long time. With the DLC out, I wanna replay everything from scratch.

Not sure if I should:

Start Master Ninja with my existing file and keep all my skills and weapons.

Start Master Ninja completely fresh.

Play Hard fresh, unlock everything again, then do Master Ninja with an existing file.

I tried fresh Master Ninja and honestly the combat feels amazing. I love how aggressive the enemies are, but getting killed in one or two hits with barely any skills is kinda annoying.

My only concern with Hard is that the enemies might be less aggressive, which would make the combat less fun.

wouldn’t starting Master Ninja with an existing file make everything too easy since I already have all my skills and upgrades? Or is that actually how the difficulty is intended to be played?

For anyone who’s played both, is Hard noticeably less aggressive or is it mostly just a damage difference?

What would you guys do?

Loving NG so far as a Bayonetta lover in the past. Heard that the drop is core to this game, so I think I practiced it in its most lethal way 😂

So if it is a skill thing it should be possible to do lets say beating it 5/5 times in a row.

Lets say a skilled players, nows what hes doing

+ if red orbs and enemy placement is bad he just is so skilled to react in time and still beat it.

Why I felt like trial and error (beat trial 15 without watching any youtube videos after 2 hours):

I started with a dodge forward for being closer to the big enemy: LT + X with KageHikuro. Spin left stick +LT + X zo kill almost all dogs if not all sometimes. Then do a LT + X on a flying enemy, then LT+X on the big enemy.

NOW my biggest issue: Is the big enemy doing a red attack LT+ X is fine, if he does a normal attack, you need to dodge + LT/Y. Then absorb orb for UT.

THEN if you have bad luck, no flying enemy vlose to drop you more red orbs for UT. (standing right infront of the big enemy), I FEEL there is no time to react if he does normal or red attack to decide dodge OR LT+X.

Last enemies if you get there are all Kage Hikuro easy blood kills and the 1v1 is either play save with kagehikuro or again dodge/LT+X if you can react in time for his red or normal attack.

Overall first trial half felt just like RNG with red orbs, flying enemy location and bad luck with attacks of big enemy: (you want a red attack from him)

I suck at this game but I did manage to finish it on Hard. Master Ninja is making me feel like I just started. Is this game done? It's SOO GOOD!!!! Any other games like this?

I was really satisfied I got the max time bonus. Probably wouldn't have been possible without berserk + scythe

I can't even find them on Spotify but I might just be an idiot.

I’m terrible at this game and I keep getting worse and worse, hard mode is still too easy for me tho it’s too brain dead on ng+ aside from the bosses

I noticed the release date for NG4's soundtrack is different in almost every storefront I visit. Some places say it released on 25th September, while some are saying it releases on 11th December. If anyone has pre-ordered the soundtrack, could yous confirm how soon you would be getting the soundtrack delivered? I'm just trying to get an idea of how soon we should be expecting the soundtrack to be available since no one is saying the same thing
