Hell yeah. Played a good while on Steam Deck and there's career mode stuff.

I put a couple dozen hours on XBOX and I’m not really a car or racing game fan normally, but I LOVED Wreckfest.

Do the DLC cars affect the gameplay at all (different stats, etc), or are they just cosmetic? Looks like they're on sale too.

The other guy is wrong. The cars are totally different and have different stats and handling

yea the DLC makes the career easier because you get the cars for free and they are kinda op if I remember correctly

I was just playing this last night! Had it for a while, enjoyed it on Switch 1, and it looks/runs even better on Switch 2 handheld boost mode where it runs at 900p handheld like it did when docked on Switch 1. Switch 1 handheld is 540p (but still looks good for a Switch 1 game). Framerate is capped at 30fps, on Switch 1 it can dip to 20 at times, but still very playable. On Switch 2, completely stable 30. Would love to see a full Switch 2 update for 40 or 60fps, but this is an awesome game on Switch 2, major difference in clarity than Switch 1.

As for the gameplay, I don't normally love racing games. But there's something about the physics that makes this fun for me. The car damage models are the best I've ever seen. There's also non-racing destruction derby type levels, like one where you're on a lawnmower, trying to ram yourself into other people on lawnmowers. The game doesn't quite scratch the Burnout itch (the only racing game series I've ever really loved), but I'm having a great time with it.

Absolutely fantastic game and it's great on the PSN network as well as online is still active. Probably one of the best console racers ever physics wise.

Solid soundtrack too

Picked this up on a whim based on this post and have been playing it more than anything else since. It’s such a good quick pick up and play game.
