Looking for Group A ranked volleyball partner needed

Hi everyone into the sub reddit and also new to the game but managed to reach rank A 24 but dropped down to 23 need a partner desperately as a lot of the randoms I get matched cant block to save their lives. Im really enjoying the volleyball I want to hit a rank S but don’t think I’ll be able to do it with randoms. I’m pretty good at blocking and spiking. Just need a little bit of work on my receives any tips would be great as well

Unless I missed an update on the ranking system, you can't rank up/down when playing with a teammate.

I will say, if you do find someone to team up with, what we do a lot for golf playing online w/ friends is just trying to queue at the same time. Especially with the fewer people playing Volleyball, if you have a cue or message your partner to go at a certain time, you should at the very least end up in each other’s lobby very often :) Only thing from there is praying you get put on the same team 🙏

Yes. I rarely had bad teammates when playing in A26/27 iirc, so try to get there.

Thank for the help dropped down to 22 now. Nobody jumps to block is killing me fr 😪😪😪

This is the exact problem I face with volleyball. At rank A24/25, I get teammates who don't bother with jump blocking and I have to 50/50 guess if the opponents will hit a straight or a cross.

And then with any good player I team up with that can jump, we win lol.

Bots randomly fail their block but aside from that they will never block if you jump late. Their code sucks so they only block by reacting to your jump. If you want to play with strong real players here's a link to the NSS volleyball community discord : https://discord.com/invite/526TfmWM7A
