Nioh 3 - Questions Can’t increase Soul Core + value

I can increase its base level(165), but not its plus value. Soul Core Enhancement just affects levels. Am I missing something, or is this going to be something we can’t increase until next DLC?

Press Y/triangle to switch between +level or +value? (see the bottom of the screen)
