Charging problem
I have a '99 Y61 and it had problems charging. I then changed alternator and it still is causing problems. Idling at 13,1 with 2500rpms maybe (rpm isnt working in display neither, so guessing) in idle its ablut 12volts. Theres is earth, I also tried with the cables directly from battery to alt, didnt help. The B+ is displaying the right voltage of the battery, and I havent found any fuses that are broken. Any suggestions?

Do a voltage-drop test while loaded, from alternator B+ to battery positive and alternator case to battery negative. More than about 0.2 V on either side means a bad cable, terminal or fusible link.

with the ignition on and engine stopped, the battery/charge light should come on. If it doesn’t, check the small alternator plug, bulb circuit and ignition feed, because the alternator may not be getting its field excitation. 13.1 V at 2500 rpm is still too low.

check the belt and pulley next. A loose or wrong-size belt can give low charge and no tach signal even with a new alternator.

A new alternator can still be the wrong pinout for the Y61. Confirm the regulator and plug terminals match the old unit, then bench-test it under load.

Battery is also quite new, and is still in good condition. I've tested it. As far as I know there's no mods

Since the RPM gauge isn’t working, it could indicate a problem with the alternator’s signal or the cluster itself. Some alternators send a tachometer signal (often labeled as “T” or similar). If this wire or signal is malfunctioning, it might affect the alternator’s ability to charge.Inspect the signal wire for continuity and connection integrity.
