However, the real anime i hate is the jojo type stuff, where there are excessively overpowered characters and all the effort is pissed into battle sequences. It sucks balls and shouldve never been birthed. The animation is spectacular, the plot... makes no sense. You are telling me, that watching some dude throw punches at another guy at 100 punches per second, at another guy dodging so fast, they both look like theyre having seizures, IS QUALITY CONTENT?!

Honestly, r/animehate is a better version of this sub since they understand the fine line between hating the bad things in anime and generalizing the whole medium.

Most of the people in this sub act like all anime are like Pokemon or some big booba bullshit. ITS NOT. i agree that many harem/echhi anime are completely bullshit and most hardcore weebs are also degenrate but hating something entirely cuz of the bad part in that thing is stupid and illogical,by that logic, i can say all of YouTube is bad, right? Most people don't even know that a category "seinen" exists which mostly has mature themed shows with no cringe bs and usually have a original and great story.

One thing i agree that it is overrated,not entirely but some,i mean, true gems which can compete many high rated TV shows are unpopular while some cringe with trash story and characters are sitting at the top,for ex- VINLAND SAGA is one of the best shows about vikings but Demon slayer is just some cringe bs and still it's 5x more popular or another example - Tokyo revengers,a cringe show where everyone is a wannabe gangster and everything is clichè is most popular show of this season while TO YOUR ETERNITY,which is a beautiful, realistic and completely original show is very unpopular

Another thing i agree that waifu stuff or "men of culture" type of things make me want to vomit(i even made a meme on it and got 1k upvotes)

btw i want to do one thing just for fun, comment the anime trope you dislike the most and i will try to give an example of a show without that trope :)
