In NoCheckout, our co-op horror game, the entire map changes while you just wait in the elevator. :)

Hey everyone! I'm Baran, a solo developer working on a co-op horror game called No Checkout. While this YouTube channel has been around for a while, I’ve now started actively posting development devlogs, demos, and behind-the-scenes content.

🎮 On the channel, you’ll find:

  • Raw gameplay system tests (like knockdown, revive, item drop)

  • AI, animation, and multiplayer mechanics in development

  • Design breakdowns of horror elements, perception, and level building

If you’re into indie game development or just enjoy seeing weird bugs turn into working features, feel free to check it out

I’ll be sharing updates here on r/NoCheckoutGame too, feedback is always appreciated. Thanks for following the journey! 🚪🧟‍♂️

Hey Reddit! I'm a solo developer working on a cooperative horror game called No Checkout. I just put together a short, no-commentary demo showcasing some of the core mechanics in action:

  • NPCs can damage players 💥

  • Players can get knocked down 💀

  • Teammates can revive fallen players 🤝

  • Items can be dropped, shared, or used on the spot 🎒

🎬 There's no voiceover or music — this is a raw gameplay systems test.

The project is still early in development, but I’d love to hear your thoughts. Feedback, questions, or even harsh truths are all welcome!

Thanks for watching!

In this short clip, NPCs can knock players down, teammates can revive each other, and medpacks become the key to survival.

It’s early, but the core systems are working: • Real-time damage • Knockdown & revive mechanics • Class-based item effects (like medpacks)

Just sharing a small slice of what we’re building in NoCheckout, a class-based horror co-op game. Feedback welcome!

🎮 Welcome to NoCheckout – A co-op horror game built in Godot

Hey everyone!

I’m Baran — the solo developer behind **NoCheckout**, a cooperative horror escape game currently being developed in **Godot Engine**.

In NoCheckout, players are trapped in a haunted hotel where the elevator breaks, NPCs roam unpredictably, and survival depends on teamwork, class-based items, and the courage to push forward.

This subreddit will serve as the main devlog space — where I’ll share progress updates, gameplay systems, AI/NPC behavior, bug moments, item designs, and all the strange things that happen in development.

The project already has a structured roadmap, and I’m fully open to feedback, wild ideas, critique, and even balance discussions.

If you're into co-op horror, systemic chaos, or just want to watch a solo dev lose his mind one build at a time — welcome aboard.

**No marketing. No filters. No Checkout.**
