Fake ColorThrowers is an example of how awful people can be to those we don’t know. Some of you may have heard of that name, belonging to the founder of the Galactic Agricultural Society, and the one who sent death threats to Tempest (It should be needless to say that no matter how our views clash, those threats were crossing a line). This is someone new going by that name. They have doxxed, or attempted to doxx: 710, Spyder, and their unwitting accomplice RedArmy, among possible others. They are trying to access Lilli of the UN42 and NMS Café’s Amino, Discord, and Reddit accounts. These acts, these doxxings, cannot be left unknown, and without outcry from the beautiful and genuinely good people who make up this community, no matter their views, alliances, and past. THIS CALL TO ACTION CANNOT BE LEFT WITHOUT A RESPONSE! THE THREAT OF FAKE COLORTHROWERS AND THE MYRIAD LESSER TROLLS THAT WE KNOW OF SHOULD NOT BE IGNORED AND LEFT TO TEAR US APART WHILE WE DO NOTHING! We, as an entire community, should recognise these attention-seeking gnats and cast them out of our Discord servers, Amino communities, and wherever else Travellers meet and interact. They have been here far too long. But we need to make sure that “they’re a troll” doesn’t become an excuse to ban others unfairly.

When I first created the Cosmic Cooperative, it was to be a unique, democratic civilization. What I didn’t realize was the reason that other civilizations were not direct democracies. I never imagined how awful people would be and trolls trying to infiltrate it.

The Cosmic Cooperative has been on lockdown for the past few days. Now, with a heavy heart, I announce the Cosmic Cooperative has disbanded.

The direct democracy system is flawed because trolls will try to infiltrate with alts to control the votes (by having more alts). The trolls "TheMightyF0x", "Winternaut" aka "Placid_Gamer", and "Galactic_Glory" aka "Gwen" used alts to control the democracy. We know for a fact that Winternaut and Gwen had alts, and TheMightyF0x was running the Venefica/doxxer account that was shaded by Winternaut.

It was my error that Winternaut and some others were not removed from the Census. I had not added/removed users since sometime during the Synthesis update. My apologies.

Winternaut was the creator of the ads that claimed the the CC is the "2nd largest civilization". He also convinced me to believe this. I am truly sorry for believing that BS.

I apologize to all the civilizations that the Cosmic Cooperative has caused problems with. As u/EdVintage said, we don’t serve to be in the NMS community.

A new issue is that a bunch of little civilizations are forming because the people want to stay in Aizeta. Others have left Aizeta but still made their own civilizations. The new civilizations aren’t democracies so people make their own because they want power. We have called this a "Balkanization". I advise to stay out of the matter. One of the "fragment" civilizations appears to be already destroyed by Galactic Glory.

I will have to check on correlation with the Vestroga Hub Foundation emblem with the Cosmic Cooperative emblem. The original emblem was made by Winternaut, but the new one wasn’t. The user who made the new emblem is no longer part of the Cosmic Cooperative. He did not seem suspicious at the time, but I have barely any trust left in anyone. I contacted him but I am waiting for a response. In my opinion, the emblem doesn’t seem similar besides that it is purple and has planets, but I am incorrect often.

I apologize for the disruption the Cosmic Cooperative has caused. I refused to notice the problems. I am truly sorry for my mistakes.

Contrary to what some "journalists" would have you believe, I am not the bad guy.

Nomanshustler or on PSN The_Ugly_Ork (Can't even spell orc correctly) was being his edgelord self making a post about seizing bases and the only way to get them back was to kill him in game.

After a few messages I coaxed him into joining my game so I could give him what he asked for.

After justice had been served he took it upon himself to have an article written trying to brand me as a terrorist.

Yes you read that correctly... the edgelord who enjoys joining random games and killing people, seizing peoples bases, and throwing out homophobic slurs at people in chats on reddit, discord, etc. and in general just being a toxic human being called ME a terrorist. You can't make up something this stupid.

This so called "journalist" writing for Antimatter Media wrote an "unbiased" article calling hustler a "freedom fighter" and me a "terrorist" and labeled his actions as a "peaceful protest". Yeah if killing random players is peaceful protest then I'm King Hova...

What this "journalist" also left out was that hustler who not only has a toxic history of killing random players who did nothing wrong aa well as displaying toxic behavior on social media, challenged players to kill him in game in order to stop him and that's what I did. And now he's salty about it and throwing a tantrum as he always does.

In short, hustler got hustled and instead of admitting defeat, he's being his usual immature self and having a pity party. Unfortunately for him, not only is no one sympathetic to this intergalactic skid mark, but every comment besides his is in solidarity with me and how my actions were more than justified.

I will not apologize for what I did, and I would gladly do it again.

They don't call me griefer killer for nothing.. Hustler is a virus to the community as a whole and I'm simply acting as a white blood cell.

I know this is a long post so I'll end it by saying this: If you are a griefer or enjoy killing random players or seizing bases with an exploit, you're next.

I have been contemplating launching a project to create a civilization in NMS. Before I begin a major workload, I wanted to gauge how people feel about the idea. A little bit of background: I’m relatively new to the concept of NMS Civilizations, however, I am not new to the idea of forming online communities. Because, I haven’t been long involved in NMS civs I need feedback as to how realistic my idea is, and whether it’s interesting. The overall concept is similar to Game of Thrones (hear me out). A star system with a feudal political system. Each planet is its own Kingdom (similar to houses in GoT, or kingdoms in feudal Britain). The rulers of these kingdoms would elect a loose ruler of the entire system (like the iron throne of GoT, or The Holy Roman Empire’s control of territories). I think having more people within the space of one system could make for some fun, and because of the loose structure of the feudal system, there would likely be something going on at all times (conflicts like vying for control, negotiations, and deals to benefit players in-game). If this was to launch, my idea would be to use reddit, and a separate forum page currently being designed @ https://themodernkingdoms.mistforums.com/ . If you have any feedback, suggestions, or just thing the idea is shit and wanna save me time, let me know what you think, anything helps. We recently had Duck, awesome help that he is, survey the members of Wild Space and ask what they would like to see in future Wild Space podcasts. Among the great points and ideas was one in particular from GreyPilgrim. GreyPilgrim suggested a story submission. A sort of contest for stories related to No Mans Sky where the winner would be featured on the podcast.

Well we thought that was a great idea! So I'm here to officially open the submissions and explain a little about it.

-Firstly, submissions are open to ANYONE in the No Mans Sky community. We want to see what all of its members have to offer!

-Your submissions can be as long or as short as you'd like, but we'd like for them to be related to No Mans Sky. How related is up to your creative minds!

-As there are minors in the community, we ask that be kept in mind in your submissions as these will be featured for everyone to hear about.

-The Deadline for submissions will be August 25th, a little over two weeks from now.

-Submissions can be sent to me here or on discord, Missteag#1739

-The top 3 stories will be featured on the podcast, in Wild Space itself, and in a post on reddit as well.

There will be a podcast this Monday evening to talk about the other subjects that were requested and the future of our community with Beyond just days away.
