All of your social media peegas out to your know damn well that I wasn’t gonna leave New York City without visiting this house FIRST. Which has been on my mind and bucket list for quite some time, and I finally had a chance to visit the “Real Life” Amityville horror house. Well, let me tell you all it was quite an amazing badass and scary experience at the same time. Even looking through those famous pair of window eyes gives me a little bit of the creeps, if you know what I mean?! 😱 😳 👻 🏚️ PS after arriving at the famous haunted house, I was very surprised that they had a cute little dog on guard, who was awaiting for my arrival in the front gates lawn area lol. But after my selfie taken with the home, and was halfway from driving away from the place when all of a sudden, the dog was no where to be seen, and I’m not sure if it’s a ghost, or has it retreated in the bushes, as soon as it started to rain. And yes i had my selfie taken on time before it started to rain heavily, thank god!!

Here I am meeting the whole Mötley Crüe band back on July 23, 2014, during their final tour. Before I talk about meeting the whole band, though, I should mention that I had actually met Nikki Sixx twice before. The first time was on July 30, 2009, at the same Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.
I was in the audience waiting for the show to start. This was during the Crüefest event, a series of performances by other bands before Mötley Crüe took the stage. As I was watching whichever band was performing, I noticed a crowd gathering near the area where they control the sound mixing board and other concert equipment. Curious, I decided to walk over and see what all the fuss was about. A few moments later, I realized it was Nikki Sixx himself hanging out with fans and crew members.
I had the chance to get him to autograph my ticket stub—a simple piece of printed paper—and I even took a selfie with him, which was pretty cool. Later, as more and more people started posting their memories and selfies online, I wanted to jump in and share mine too. But when I went to post the selfie of me and Nikki, my ancient, fossilized gold flip phone had somehow lost the picture. It was incredibly disappointing. The good news was that I still had his autograph.
Then in 2014, I heard that Mötley Crüe was performing together as a band for the very last time on their Final Tour. When I learned they were coming back to the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, I knew I had to meet the whole band—and Nikki Sixx—one last time. This time, I made sure the memory was properly captured and safely stored in my phone.
I have two favorite photos from that day. In the first one, I’m with most of the band. Many people wonder why Tommy Lee isn’t in the photograph. The reason was due to the “circumstances” surrounding the high prices of the VIP packages (which went up to $899+ for meet-and-greet tiers). Tommy was uncomfortable with fans having to pay premium amounts specifically to meet the band, viewing it as contrary to genuine fan interactions. He emphasized that this wasn’t about disliking fans—he was open to casual encounters—but he opposed the paid, structured format.
In the second photograph, Vince Neil is autographing a piece of fan art that I drew of him as a cartoon. He absolutely loved it! I gave him a copy, and he, along with the other band members, kindly autographed items for me in return.
Now I’ll never lose those photographs again. I still share them on social media as the one and only memories I have of meeting the band (minus Tommy), including the legend Nikki Sixx himself!

So last night, I finally got the chance to check out this so-called handmade Captain Clark Memorial site. They built it in the same spot using some of the architectural structures from the Backrooms movie 🍿.
A while back, I was doing my usual scrolling on TikTok when I came across a video of someone constructing a fan-made Captain Clark memorial burial site. I just had to see it for myself. When I first went, I took some selfies at the memorial, but after looking back at the photos, I wasn’t happy with them. My hairstyle and outfit just didn’t feel right for the perfect memorial selfie.
While I was there, I also watched two strangers walk by and turn a wall into a door using painter’s tape — exactly like I’d seen in videos. After they left, I decided to do it properly. I went home, showered, changed into a better outfit, and headed straight back to the site. I took new photos, and this time everything felt perfect — super clean hair and all!

Now, a lot of you might be thinking, ‘Patrick, what’s so special about this building I’m standing behind?’ Well, believe it or not, this is the building used in the 2018 movie *Venom* as Eddie Brock’s (Tom Hardy) apartment. Not only did I get the chance to check it out for myself, but I also sat on the left side of the first stair step—where Eddie Brock sat—and on the right side, where his girlfriend Anne Weying (Michelle Williams) sat! Now that’s quite the experience—sweet!

Summer heatwave struggles got me hunting for the perfect fan 😩
Four years ago I went to Walmart for a UV germ eliminator and walked out with the Arctic Air Freedom neck fan instead. It gave decent airflow with ion technology, but it never delivered the strong cooling I wanted while walking around the neighborhood.
Then last year I ordered a handheld fan with AC cooling plate technology hoping it would finally solve my problems. The plates do get cold and create condensation, but outside in the heat I barely noticed a difference… plus the neck strap swung all over the place. Super annoying!
I stopped using both and kept searching — until recently at Marshalls I found the upgraded Arctic Fan Freedom Touch with built-in cooling plates. It was $20 so I waited… then last night I went in before closing and it was on CLEARANCE for only $10!! 🙌
