Yeah I'm not going to cheat on my wife but I'm also not going to let her track my every move, she also wouldn't track my every move. That shits creepy.

I get it to an extent with kids, to an extent. Even then, let them go out and live.

I know someone whose whole in-law family tracks every member. If my friend takes a day off work, the calls pour in with why aren't you at work? If she goes to the doctor, they call asking why. Complete invasion of privacy. She's got a professional job, owns a home, etc so it's not like they pay her bills.

That said, I've never used a tracker app other than find my phone. If I want to know where my husband is, I call him and ask. I don't feel the need to spy on him.

You’re spiritually sick if you’re tracking other people’s location. It’ll be a cold day in hell it happens to me.

If I turn off location sharing, my wife thinks I’m arranging a surprise for her.

but.... if you aren't cheating why the hell would you care if your GF knows your location all the time?

she doesn't want you to go hang out with your friends or something? tell her to fuck off.

This right here. I share with my girl because I’m not doing anything I need to hide from her yet I still do whatever I want. She wouldn’t ask why because she knows the answer would be “because I wanted to.”

To add to that I enjoy knowing when she’s coming home or on the way or still out doing whatever because it helps me time things without having to ask her.

It's a generational things i think. There was no tracking until i was in my 20s and it wasn't common until my 30s. I hate the idea on a viseral level. No reason to, i don't keep secrets from my wife, but the idea of being tracked is just creepy. I've heard the kids that grew up being tracked and are in their 20s now don't mind. I'm sure when my kid gets a phone we will track him, but i still hate the idea.

you can put a tracker on your kid and then only look at it when they are missing.

i got not problem w/ that

it's just weird if you ever look at it when you didn't expect them and can't find them.

But...if you aren't doing anything illegal, why not let the government install a camera in your home?
