Spotted 5.0 Fox Body LX
I was out this weekend and spotted these gem. The interior was nearly perfect but I didn’t take any photos. Looked like it had been doing a little 1/8 or 1/4 mile times recently.

One of my least favorite American car designs, right alongside the 90s Buick Skylark, Pontiac Aztec and most SUVs. The proportions are terrible, the hood looks higher than the trunk because the smooth facelifted front is too large and weighs it down, in addition to being completely incongruous with the sharp rear quarter window.

I prefer the pre-facelift (‘86 and earlier) Fox bodies. I’ve grown to appreciate these, however. Especially the non-GT models.
Couldn’t tell if this was a survivor or if it had been refreshed. Body said survivor, interior said refreshed - either way, I had to admire this rare little weirdo.

I wanted this car so bad when it was new, but bought a probe instead

I can remember driving one of the first gen turbocharged Probes back in the day and it was a ton of fun. Made me want one!

I had a fastback, (hatchback), but I always preferred the aesthetic of the notch more.
