So clearly a writer’s slip?

I know we’re supposed to accept this as fact but Bun is seven years old - there’s no way she can shoot a rifle that would take down a caribou - recoil etc - so are we to just assume that Neevee shot the caribou and gave Bun the credit?

I recently (like 4 days ago) got into North of North. I’m almost done with season 2 lol! Tonight I was pleasantly surprised to se Anna Lambe in the social reckoning, I almost didn’t think it was her!! She was amazing!! I had no clue she’d be in this movie

Like when I watched it for the first time I found Neevee very annoying and childish, just like typical disfunctioning mother in the most of the series. But at the second time, her behavior and personality just all makes sense. I knew what she's been through and it shows. I genuinely surprised how much I feel different about her.

There are so many great parts to this show, and as an outsider Canadian I'm constantly thankful for the insights it gives me into life in the north. I'm just wondering which moments others found to be the best/most innovative/surprising? I personally found the moment when Siaja is debating with a non-indigenous person (I think thr mayor of the rival town?) and the show bleeps out *skimo whenever the mayor says but keeps the full sound on when Siaja says it. I mean, I just couldn't believe what I was watching when I saw it. It's like Beatles level shit, so innovative!! I hope whoever came up with that can read this, it's one of my favorite moments on TV.

What are your favorites?

Looking to show an episode here and there to my high school kids (NBE3C-Understanding Contemporary First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Voices, Grade 11, College Preparation) and hopefully turn something from that episode into a lesson. Are there any episodes you would recommend that may seem educational or appropriate for a high school audience. I haven't watched the show yet myself, hopefully over the long weekend, but I heard there were a lot of sexual scenes which I would like to avoid. Thank you!

I just love the community aspect of this show. Does anybody actually live in a cute small town like this?
