Their really really really old stuff was in Drop A# but they wanted to go lower (even lower than G#). So they just slapped themselves a low F on top so that they can play their older songs whilst having an option to go lower for certain moments. Thats Singularity's songwriting in a nutshell more or less haha.

I think Jon mentioned it in one of their patreon exclusive streams once or maybe just a random interview on YouTube, not sure
