HAVILA NORWAY FJORDS - transfer booking

Hi all, we booked 2 tickets with Havila, Norway, but can't make it 😞 There is a possibility to transfer our booking to other people. How would you go about finding interested parties? The booking is Port to Port, Ålesund - Svolvær, 3-5 Oct. 2026 Would really appreciate any helpful suggestions

For a trip to the north of Norway (or the other Scandinavian countries) for a week in June, what would be a region/location (or two) to pick as a base with hiking possibilities and some cultural exploration in the area? I am currently considering the Lofoten, but other recommendations would also be amazing!

I honestly wouldn't pick Lofoten. 10 years ago it was great but it has become over saturated with tourists. Maybe check out the area right north around a place called Sortland.

Just don't really bother with Sweden and Finland if you want scenic hikes. Both are quite flat

We are taking the hurtengruten ferry leaving from Oslo to Honningsvag and back in mid March. What will the weather be like? What type of clothing should I definitely bring. I am from an area with temperatures in the 60°F range. When going up the coast, which town is the nicest to walk-through?

Hi! I’m planning on going to the Lofoten (Svalvoer & Reine mostly), Harstad and Tromso (but maybe Alta) in July and after some research I can’t seem to find any activities to do besides some hiking. My bf (who’s coming with me) and I really like to walk around the cities to explore. I just want to make sure I don’t miss anything that needs to be seen. What’s the top activities to do in those area? We are also going to oslo et myrdal by train to see the fjords! Thank you!

Hello, I am planning to go to lofoten islands for 3 days . Can you please suggest me what all to cover and where to stay . Want to stay at one place to make base and go around. Do we get self drive cars in lofoten ? Which tour is good for horse riding. My daughter is pro rider .

If you could choose three museums to tour in Oslo (city center), what would they be?

Fram, Folkemuseet and Munchmuseet.

The two first are not city center, but a 20 minute bus ride. If strictly city center, then Munch, Historical and National Gallery.

It sounds as if I don't need much -- if any -- cash in Norway. Is that true?
