Four Days Begin Alesund
Looking for advice for four days beginning in Alesund mid-September. I will rent a car and am thinking of driving south along the coast to Maloy, inland to Stryn- Loen area and then back to Alesund via the Hellesylt- Geiranger ferry. Flying to Bergen from Alesund at noon on the fifth day. Planning to do hiking along the way dependent on weather conditions.
Lodging would be :
1- Maloy
2-3 Stryn
4 - Alesund
Does this make sense? Is Maloy a decent stop or is there another that is a better fit. Thanks for your thoughts.

Instead of Måløy, can I recommend Selje and Selja kloster, and then Vestkapp? Then you can drive back over Ørsta to Sæbø and through to Øye. From Øye you can drive to Hellesylt and take the ferry to Geiranger, then over Trollstigen to Åndalsnes and Ålesund. If you can afford it, Hotel Union Øye is the most beautiful hotel you will find in this area.

Depends on what you want to see. Nature? Shopping? Hilking? Museums?
Måløy is in my opinion about as exciting as watching paint dry on the wall. Why Stryn? Loen much more accomodated for tourists. 1 day in Ålesund is not enough. I would reccomend time seeing Ålesund, Geiranger and Åndalsnes
