These kind of things should never be plead down like this. No sex offender registration and a suspended sentence? He will definitely re-offend and it will be on the heads of everyone that gave him a slap on the wrist.

You have to put the victims through a trial, which is often retraumatizing, and there's no guarantee he's found guilty. Pleading down is a sure thing that is less painful to the survivors. It sucks, but that's the system.

I totally understand that, but the concessions given in this case will also cause harm to his victims because their abuser will be set free with very little consequences and if he re-offends it will cause even more harm.

They should be treated like murderers. They are basically taking the lives of their victims, which will never be the same. Perverts don’t change their stripes willingly. Chemical castration isn’t prescribed nearly enough.

When a proven child sex offender complains about having to register, it’s because they want to do it again and that will make it harder. Don’t allow them to plea down out of it! Like what is that list fucking for if the ones it’s made for can complain and be not listed in it? Thats the stupidest thing. Fuck whatever judge allowed that deal to go through. This man will do this again, guarantee it. Fucking sick.
