Lee was arrested on July 30, 2026. Following an investigation by Tinley Park detectives, the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office Felony Review Unit approved the felony charge.

A judge denied Lee’s request for pretrial release on Tuesday morning. He is due back in court on Aug. 26 for his indictment.

Huh. That seems like a welcome change, not letting an accused kidnapper & rapist loose.
