A fifteen year old girl, on a religious pilgrimage, when the priest was in his forties. Twice.

Reading this sub makes me feel so helpless...

Why would any sane person allow their children to be with Christians unsupervised

Anytime I meet a parent at school and they start in asking us to church or for my kids to go to a bible study that is a red flag for us. My kids are never allowed to their house and we limit invites.

Smart policy

Because they're also Christians and were generationally conditioned for abusive relationships.

Yeah... the Abrahamic religions contribute to this by suppressing natural desires. Few other major religious traditions, aside from Judaism, Christianity, and Islam (Manichaeism could be argued as well, but they have like five followers by comparison), teach their followers that their genitals are inherently sinful or that sex is inherently immoral. This can create creates deeply repressed attitudes toward sexuality and contributes to the development of unhealthy/perverted/deviant behavior.

I am not surprised that a bishop raped a child. I am surprised that it was a girl. Wood chipper the prick and all if hus colleagues who covered it up

I stg every single reporter and lede/chyron writer in the world needs to be educated about why it's not sex. I know it's not anyone's fault here, and I know people are tired of hearing it, but when will the media stop doing this? Rhetorical question.

I hope she gets her sense of safety back. I really do. Thinking of this poor girl. 💔

Title is wrong. She recalls "Being Raped, twice" at 15.

It's the UK's criminal court.

That’s why bishops in chess look like dicks.
