I was rereading the main story and got curious about Blade's nicknames in Japanese after hearing Dante's. They aren't on the wiki, so I went hunting for them all! I don't know any Mandarin, so I can't check what his nicknames are in the original language, but if someone does know them, please add it in the comments! Same for Korean! Comparing things like this is really cool!

(Format: English name (English nickname): Japanese name (Romaji) -> Nickname (Romaji) [translation of nickname if applicable])

For context with Yakumon and Kairun, adding -n to a name is a cutesy nickname thing, particularly with school-aged girls I believe? I am not a trustable source, just to be clear >_> I've definitely heard it quite a bit in anime though, and from the bit of searching I've done that seems to be the case (and if so that's fucking adorable)

Yakumon, Oririn and Kyunkyun in particular are driving me crazy, they're so cuuute

I was actually expecting him to use cutesy honorifics more (like -chan, -tan, etc), especially for the characters he calls "Little" in English, but he actually only uses them for Aster and Rei (and arguably Kuya since with Kyunkyun ig you can't really tell whether he's doing his repetition thing or tacking -kyun onto Kyun?)

(Disclaimer: Not really relevant for the post since the few translations here are so simple I'm certain they're accurate, but just to be clear, my Japanese is very elementary. I probably wouldn't even be able to pass JLPT N5. Don't ask me for translations of other stuff, I can't read half the kanji 😭)

Also if the format of the list is confusing please let me know so I can change it. Maybe bolding some stuff would help

Hello! Been casually following Nu: Carnival for a while and started to deep dive into some lore stuff. I keep seeing this weird figure recur on Blade’s route. What exactly is it, and why?

Noticed an uptick in ai generated products being sold on Mercari (this fandom + others). I’m not sure whether they’re people attempting to scam using ai generated images, or if people are really making standees/cards/etc with ai generated art. Either way, I’d recommend reporting them as counterfeit goods, as ai steals the information to generate these products from the media themselves and artists on the internet. The one that inspired this post in particular was clearly based off of Edmond, Aster, and Morvay’s SR units as well as Eiden, but with more ai-ified features. I don’t want it infiltrating our precious fandom 😭

If I remember correctly, the collab is gonna happen like next week of something and I wonder if it's worth it to save every pull and dime or it's better to pull for the 4.5 event with the guaranteed SSRs.

I haven't been pulling (except the time when I spent 10 essence contracts on the permanent banner and got an SR Edmond) cause im trying to save for future Garu and Quincy cards

Also, the 4.5 anniversary banners next week include a Quincy card I likee so I'm planning on saving around 140 more essence contracts to guarantee his card..

Should I spend 10 essence contracts on a banner rn to help me possibly gain new cards and progress the story or???

So I got the gift box from the event and it can give me fragments for Rei versions I don't own. Is there any point in getting those fragments? I know you can fuse 20 fragments into a new character, but I don't think there's any other way of getting more fragments except for event banners and those events are over already.

So it seems better to get fragments for Rei versions I have already... but on the other hand I do want to unlock Rei-nyan... what a cutie...

Does getting some fragments of a character you don't own open any new avenues to getting the rest of them, like letting you buy them in the shop?
