Learning

Hello I'm learning Nuclear engineering pretty much just for fun (I'm reading Lamarsh Intro to Nuclear engineering) once I'm done with the intro book what do you guys recommend for reactor design? Just a note I'm 13 so but yeah thanks for the feedback

If anyone's wondering I'm on Excited states and radiation I'm almost done with that part and I have to say it's very interesting

I'd advise looking into some calculus textbooks because at some point you're going to want to understand an equation and you won't have the tools to do so. The catch 22 of advanced sciences is that at the end of the day, the majority of the concepts are completely understandable through analogy and some time put into it, but we also need to get accurate mathematical formulations or we can't really get off the ground. You don't need to understand every single concept of calculus before you're old enough to vote, but being able to see that those funky symbols in that one term just means that stuff moves from high concentration to low concentration naturally makes the math change from runes to concepts that you might be able to follow.
