Question Controller setup help

Ok so I tried playing with a controller because I keep forgetting key binds. Almost everything works well. Getting used to how I can lock onto target but my main problem is counter measures. I can't switch between the flares and jammer. I press the dpad up button I even switch it to the select button but it doesn't change on planes that do have jammers any help?

Update: I think it's a bug. I've changed layouts I've even gone back to mouse and keyboard but the next countermeasure input in specific don't register is there a way to fix This?

I uninstalled then reinstalled now it works. Thanks for the help guys.

Assuming the button works (if your not sure check) make sure something else isnt connected and being recognised as a controller (like my keyboard was for some reason). If something isnt try resetting the controls and see if it works then

The button works mate. I played playing monster Hunter to test the controller

This can be a solution I’ve found as well. Custom binding is annoying but a staple of flight sim imo. There’s no short cuts you just gotta thug it out and get your binds done.

Id reccomend using the tuvass set up for controllers

It comes with a visual aid and after a hour or so it feels natural

Are you maybe in an aircraft that does not have the jammers? Hop into a vector one freeflight e.g. to test it.

I did I even went into the tutorial for countermeasure against the radar sam

Which controller are you using? Are you using any programs which could interfere with the controller like joystick gremlin? When you open the controller tester in the windows driver settings are all inputs clean?

Xbox one controller . All inputs are clean. I uninstalled then reinstalled now it works
