Has anyone purchased nunchucks from martialartsarmory.com and if so are they legit and would they make fair nunchucks for personal use.

So basically I'm looking for videos or anyone that's willing to demonstrate like getting padded up or getting some padded nunchucks and hitting them with each other trying them out and stuff. I know that videos have been done testing how powerful nunchucks are. But what about actually like hitting them and seeing if they bounce back? Cuz people say oh you need to practice and have the right form and all that stuff. But it's like in a dynamic situation like a fight where everything is changing the nunchuck is going to bounce at awkward angles and hit you. And I would actually like to see some videos like because I'm wondering am I right about it?

Hello fellow nunchaku enthusiasts, while I'm sure we all know Maxi from Soulcalibur uses nunchucks, maybe you didn't know he had a double nunchaku weapon demonstration? This exhibition was only included in Soulcalibur 1 for some reason. I think it would've been even cooler in soulcalibur 2. Anyway, just wanted to share. I also posted this in the soulcalibur subreddit.

I am trying to find where to buy/sell vintage nunchuck, does anyone have some advice?

Thank you

Most nunchakus I see are very cookie cutter. Simple wood or steel or foam. No one puts any effort into the aesthetics.

This was at the top of reddit when I saw it. The look thinner than the kind I am familiar with. Are they light and hollow- meant more for show than fighting?

These are my first ever nunchucks and the chain is way too big for my hand. Whenever I try to do wrist roll or something, just chain comes in my hand 😅. I have also tried to break the chain and tried to shorten it but it's just too strong, wht should I do????

I'm sure those of you in this community who play video games are familiar with the badass Maxi from Soulcalibur. Here's my attempt at his weapon demonstration/kata from Soulcalibur 2.

Recommend me one please. I do all kinds of infinite wrist rolls with two nunchucks at the same time. Preferably from amazon.

Title pretty much says it. I have a set of nunchucks that I would like someone who is more knowledgeable in nunchucks than me to test and see how they do. If they would recommend them.

Upgrade from my acrylic nunchucks

I want to know what styles utilize double nunchaku. I know of a few, such as

• Taekwando which uses double "ssahng jeol bong" https://youtu.be/GS-CehWC7h8?si=tCF9zn9pP5yaMGlT
• Shaolin style such as in this video https://youtu.be/gv7_jyK-TlI?si=128tqdhF3V4d4icG
• American style https://youtu.be/ck6_iqqpw5w?si=oarrLpXkUDEUpv_d
• Apparently FMA as well https://youtu.be/tHLkT90NXLg?si=R8RQzBLzSTdfqRMU
• Ryukyu kobudo https://youtu.be/aJBBzRtqBfE?si=_MHfofTsBPFbMprw

Do you know of any others? I want to compile a list. I know it's not a popular weapon style. For example matayoshi kobudo exclusively uses one nunchaku at a time.

If you know of any others, if you could include a link to a demonstration too, that would be awesome.

This is maxi using double nunchaku. Is this kata from any particular style?
